    My Top 10

    1. Baylor
    2. Utah
    3. Clemson
    4. TCU
    5. LSU
    6. Ohio st
    7. Michigan st
    8. FSU
    9. Notre Dame
    10. Alabama

Memphis should be ranked ahead of Alabama, until they're beaten. At least they beat Ole Miss, something Bammer couldn't do!!! Carry out your SEC criticism to the end--don't play the ESPN / CBS game unwittingly.

Alabama lost at HOME and gave up 43 to a SHITTY Ole Piss team yet people seem to think it's some foregone conclusion they will wipe LSU out and walk home for the West title. LSU just had a very good offensive showing vs an extremely good Florida defense and had it not been for two special team screw-ups that game would of been a complete blowout. Since it was a tight game, Miles put the reigns back on Harris in the 2nd half so that he didn't make a critical mistake and lose the game. This may sound like a homer pick, but I personally think LSU could absolutely beat Baylor. They would run at will, control the clock and punch TDs in on quite possibly every drive and our defense could come up with a few stops that's for sure. Just like what happened to Baylor vs Michigan State last year...They got up big, but Michigan State D finally started getting a few stops and Baylor couldn't keep them out of the end zone. Baylor has played SMU, Lamar, Rice, Texas Tech, Kansas and West Virginia... That is one of the worst resumes around and they gave up 38 its to WV, 35 to Texas Tech, and 31 to Lamar. If they run the table they will run into a defense from some conference in the playoff that will be completely different than anything they've seen and I think get bounced. The defense in the Big 12 is absolutely beyond embarrassing - I understand that they have some great offenses but honestly most of those teams in that conference literally are a joke. TCU giving up 45 to K State, 52 to Tech and 37 to SMU is piss poor. We will see what happens come playoff time when they play a team that can actually make tackles.

Well put. This is one heck of a Baylor offense, but how are they any different than last year's duck team. Has one of these type of teams won a Lombardi trophy yet? LSU exploited this type of ststem when they played Oregon at Jerry World. On the flips side, if yhere was ever a team to flip this script it would be Baylor this year.

Clemson plays a tough OOC every year. We usually start the season playing a Georgia or Auburn etc.... We play Notre Dame and FSU.

Notre Dame and Clemson would absolutely lay the smack down on Ohio st.... Don't think so? I bet you said that last time too.

Reality is....Clemson would spank Ohio st, come to grips with that
Come on Boom, don't hate on my Buckeyes! You know damn well they make these schedules years in advance! Never knew that VT would have a down year! Had same schedule last year and look what they did vs Alabama and Oregon!
Don't get me wrong, they weren't impressive the first 6 weeks but they won! I love your Tigers this season and truly believe they will be one of the final four!
    My final four is:
    OSU
    Baylor
    LSU
    Clemson

Wahoo, why do you always find it necessary to stick up for Boom. He was talking about SEC fans sticking up for SEC teams. NOT rivalry games so South Carolina and Clemson has no bearance whatsoever.

I don't need anyone to " stick up " for me. You're a clown for saying as much.

I'm here to educate the clowns.....

This is where the average college football fan get confused.

The Baylor offense and the Oregon offense are complete opposites. Just cause EsecPN tell you that both are a uptempo offense don't mean there the same. BTW.... almost every team in the country, I would say 90% of them have some form of uptempo scheme.

Just so you understand... Oregon is a run base offense... Baylor is a pass base offense.

I am not sure which conference looks like it's gonna get screwed out of a playoff spot. Baylor and SEC Champ should be in. An I defeated Ohio State team should also be in, as would an undefeated ACC champ. So what happens if Utah, Baylor, Clemson and Ohio State go undefeated? Can we leave a 1-loss SEC champion out? I think Ohio State is bound to choke.

Very educated, well thought put,  intelligent response.   Can't have an opposing opinion with you because people that don't agree with your synopsis are clowns. Good luck the rest of the year.

gatorbear.... you have been trying for years to to get my approval. It's not working... You are what they call a modern day asscl0wn. Embrace that role and move forward with your life.

I would wish you luck if I meant it, but I don't.

Sure Ohio State has struggled so far, but IMO they still have the most upside out of any team in the country. I've been to two games this year and both times left the stadium thinking man this team just looks bored and uninterested. I honestly think they just care about 4 games all season.... VT/PSU/MSU/Mich. Obviously this isn't right and its no excuse, but I'm just saying I dont think we've seen close to the real OSU this year.

Boom I love your Tigers this year and think Watson and that D are incredible, but I'm not so sure they'd beat my Bucks on a neutral field as badly as you think. I think it'd be extremely close and low scoring with every possession meaning so much with the potential of both defenses, I honestly think it'd come down to who takes care of the ball better, Watson or Barrett (who will start this week IMO). If they played 10 times, 100% they'd either split 5-5 or one team would squeak it out 6-4. I'd love for that to be a CFB playoff matchup.

Regarding the ND-OSU comment, I think we'd handle them. Couple of my buddies invited me to the ND-Navy game last week, and me being the d-bag I am wore a OSU pullover with my grandpas old Navy hat. Got a couple "F you's" thrown my way, but mostly everyone was pretty friendly. At halftime the ND fans (group of 5-10 dudes) around me started up a conversation with me about how they can't believe how bad we have played, and that they hope we get our sh** together and smack around MSU and Mich. We started talking about if we played each other what would happen, and every single one said OSU would beat up ND.

Anyways BOL this week and of course Fu** the SEC

Boom no disrespect toward you when I say this but since you have Clemson rated higher than LSU and Alabama, I will make a wager with you and let the moderator of this site hold the money

the bet is if Clemson plays either LSU or Alabama in the playoff considering one of the 2 S.E.C. teams and Clemson get there,  I will bet you 500 dollars that  LSU or Alabama beats Clemson. you don't have to give me any points since I assume you would have Clemson favored over both since you have them rated higher. And I despise both ALABAMA and LSU.  deal or no deal

GOOD LUCK TO YOU ON YOUR PLAYS GOING FORTH AND YOU ARE HAVING A GOOD YEAR.

I'll take that same bet with Baylor (only will hold up if Baylor actually makes the playoff and faces Bama or LSU or any SEC team)

I realize they have no defense and play in the big12 but I'm willing to chance it

lets keep it friendly since I love the SEC

    MikedaGenius-

I am a huge LSU guy and I can't see Fornette dragging his nuts all over Bama like you suggested- I love the guy but Bama is made to stop the run. Harris will have to make lots of plays in order for LSU to win. Hopefully he will and his WR's will stop dropping so many balls. I am not so sure about LSU stopping Baylor either. I would love to see that matchup and I will pay any price for tickets if it happens. I thought the LSU team of 2011 was truly special- I thought they would have drilled the Oklahoma St. team that deserved to be in the Nat. Champ. game but it didn't turn out that way. This years LSU team is solid and good on defense but not great. If Baylor plays Bama this year I will be all over Baylor as that secondary can be thrown on and Baylor would take advantage big time. The parity is huge in college football this year as it is hard to even decide who would make the final four. Good times ahead for sure.
