Ohio st schedule is the biggest joke in the history of jokes
Clemson plays a tough OOC every year. We usually start the season playing a Georgia or Auburn etc.... We play Notre Dame and FSU.
Notre Dame and Clemson would absolutely lay the smack down on Ohio st.... Don't think so? I bet you said that last time too.
Reality is....Clemson would spank Ohio st, come to grips with that
Boom Not would just Clemson beat OSU, Anybody in the top 4 would. I just don't get this yrs team. All the talent in the world!..They just cant get it together.. 2 MAC schools almost beat us!..

I had them at #8 last week. But with Florida and A&M losing, and TT and OU making TCU look bad, I have them at #4-5'ish as of now. We can't completely disregard the B1G.
I am not sure which conference looks like it's gonna get screwed out of a playoff spot. Baylor and SEC Champ should be in. An I defeated Ohio State team should also be in, as would an undefeated ACC champ. So what happens if Utah, Baylor, Clemson and Ohio State go undefeated? Can we leave a 1-loss SEC champion out? I think Ohio State is bound to choke.
From a fan's POV (and not a gambler), I'd like to see the best of the SEC over an Ohio State team that nearly lost to a MAC team twice.

Obviously to win but you do your due diligence and there is not one logical reason to take Miami at 5.5. You need more than Clemson is coming off a big win and might be in for a let down.

@Chad77 - I went to LSU and have a lot of respect for the SEC, but I however do not go around cheering for my rivals to do well when they are playing. I like LSU and Kentucky (family went there) and I'll tell you one thing that will happen this year is that Leonard Fournette will drag his nutz all over that Alabama defense. Just like what happened to Baylor vs Michigan State last year...They got up big, but Michigan State D finally started getting a few stops and Baylor couldn't keep them out of the end zone. Baylor has played SMU, Lamar, Rice, Texas Tech, Kansas and West Virginia... That is one of the worst resumes around and they gave up 38 its to WV, 35 to Texas Tech, and 31 to Lamar. If they run the table they will run into a defense from some conference in the playoff that will be completely different than anything they've seen and I think get bounced. The defense in the Big 12 is absolutely beyond embarrassing - I understand that they have some great offenses but honestly most of those teams in that conference literally are a joke. TCU giving up 45 to K State, 52 to Tech and 37 to SMU is piss poor. We will see what happens come playoff time when they play a team that can actually make tackles.

USC knows how to run out the clock, when they are behind and need two scores. Just look at how QB Cody wastes time.
First Stanford, then ND. I hope he doesn't get drafted. It would be a waste. He won't run, can't throw long, and can't handle last minute come backs.
I think Cody is overrated, but this is the coach's fault. If time were so precious, you'd see the coaches fuming on the sidelines while Cody is picking his nose. They're not.
Plus, Stanford and ND both tagged USC for 41 points. Those losses are on their shitty azz defense.

I guess they could if they lose by 3 and both teams win out big. Doubt it tho. Kansas just gave TT a hard time and TCU barely beat TTU. Baylor wins in similar fashion as the TT game: by 24-31 points.
