agree with Utah State and Rutgers.  Follow Navy pretty close since I'm and ex-Navy aviator.  Defense not up to standars these days and should be exploited, even by pedestrian Rutgers Offense.

That's a mirror image of my card last week, maybe that's my problem - I'm a week early with my picks...

Love both Northwestern and Purdue. Any thoughts on Stanford -21 vs. Washington St or GT -8 vs. Virginia?

 

lol..  Team total is looking like 43 right now..  high but doable.

ATM should have 12-14 possessions and score in the majority of them..  Baylor DEFENSE is really bad, lol..  Even Iowa St moved the ball well against them..

Does Virginia's young talent step up? Woos have played GT fairly close in the past except the last game!! Does any of the past matter with such a young team?

Card is shaping up nicely, do yourself a favor and look at the hangover affect teams have the week after playing the Crimson Tide. The beating typically lingers the following week do to the physicality of the prior week.

I don't like the way the Hoos have looked much of the year honestly, narrow wins over very poor Indiana & Idaho teams..

The bye week doesn't really mean much in my opinion, it is Tech's recent late game lapses that keeps me from betting them, not sure if they are complacent or what is happening

You already know the Hoos will throw at least one pick & the homefield advantage is not much, kind of like a neutral field atmosphere

I will get reports as the week goes but I'm leaning tech at the moment without having much info

I will be in CVille in mid November for the weekend

NW and Purdue are value grabs and honestly my least confident plays at the moment, I'm historically not great when concerning the Big10 conference, I just had the Iowa line at 3.5 and Penn St. at 10 with my own numbers, one of them will survive the cut, maybe both

I lean Wash St and Georgia Tech on those other two at first glance, haven't looked much at the Stanford game and if I do look at it will be later in the week after the line rises more, I know I won't bet Stanford there so I would have possible interest in WSU or nothing at all

I'm gonna wait on the Tech/UVA game until I see how the week goes for the Hoos and talk to my friends in CVille

some of my friends seem to think UVA can win this game, I'm not sure I'm on that train just yet

  Hey speaking of Tech .... you know the one team I would love for the Woos to beat !! Would be nice to get some revenge again Groh for the misery he has cost Wooville !! I'm really betting this because of the Rutgers defense being able to contain the Navy offense (that is my opinion), Schiano seems to know how to stop that offense or at least contain it enough to beat them, probably a let down spot for Rutgers but they beat Pitt so bad that I'm sure the emotions weren't as high as they would have been had it been a 4th quarter battle

Rutgers just seems to match up well with Navy for some reason

I don't blame Groh, I would have kept the money as well, it is UVA's problem for signing that nutjob to a long term deal

Against you on Rutgers and Louisville (but at -14), with you on Northwestern, would've been with you on South Florida if I'd pulled the trigger early, but I'm not sure about laying 8. BOL

So many things going against Rutgers in this game.  The spot is bad enough but forget that for a moment.  This team is not bad but a disgusting favorite historically at home on short numbers.  I'm a Rutgers fan and it's time to fade them this week.  Nobody in the forums bet them the entire year, watch how much love they get this week.  Anyhow GL on the rest of your card.

Virginia just beat Idaho 21-20...yes Idaho.

Other losses include North Carolina and Southern Miss....which are decent teams, but not in the same class as GT. Your friend is crazy.

I bet with and against spots, sometimes I like the matchup enough to not worry about it, I think Rutgers gets it done against Navy here, that is my thinking as of now at least

wouldn't worry about the line of the South Florida game, I would have honestly bet a number under 10, I think they matchup well with Uconn and it is time for some payback from last year, I like the Bulls to run away with this one, just my take on it

and I like the Louisville defense to keep the Bearkittens under wraps, Cincy will probably win but I don't see a big one by any means, 23-14 or something along those lines

wahoo - did ya look at the total in knoxville? I don't think LSU gets up for this game at all....they were asleep half the game vs florida. I don't think Tenn puts up many points with 6 key position players out.....gimme your thoughts bro....

good point, I already cringed when I hit "submit", that bet just has an awful feel to it, a very ugly play to say the least, my dislike for this particular UGA squad may be blinding me, I'll look at more as the week goes, that number should settle around 10ish so I'll have ample time to let it loose if need be

I haven't looked at that total but I don't see the Vols scoring more than 10, not a chance, unless Lee implodes and throws the ball to the wrong team, LSU will be a public play or whatever people like to call it but I don't see an argument for the Vols who lost Bray and really don't have much on offense, that LSU defense is just not gonna treat the Vols very well
