Duke -3 (hook) vs. PolyTek - Duke's better.  Loss to ODU flipped the line and will motivate the guests.  Devils are legit.

Indiana -15.5 at The State University of New Jersey - I'm not sure further explanation is required

Ole Miss +13.5 at The Other Death Valley - we know one of these teams will score, and it's the one getting 13.5 free points.  Look at ML as well.

I like ND -3 (now 4 some places) as well, but I haven't gotten a Stanford game right since Elway was under center.

I told myself I would leave LSU games alone until Georgia but after watching a very streaky inaccurate La Tech QB put up 350 yds passing against the Tigers, I think Ole Miss can make it a ball game- I would love to get at least 14 points as the Ole Miss defense is just so bad.....but the Tiger offense is average at best. Very interesting clash of styles in that one. 

Hawaii was on my radar but San Jose St. kept it very respectable against Oregon then made me look bad last night. I will have to look into that Spartan pass defense.

That Ole Miss/LSU game is interesting...   Rebels have so much talent on offense but simply don't care it seems.  What the hell happened to AJ Brown?  And LSU is just the team that could let them hang around because they are just as capable of laying an egg.  Personally for me it's a 10 Foot Pole game, but I will be watching.

I didn't know they let you on shore.  an_roll_laugh Fun facts from this morning's Hawai'i game:  at the half, total yards were 300-75, and first downs were 24-4.  Somehow, UH only led 21-14.  Of those games I listed, Hawai'i is probably the one I like the least. 

 

Rebs historically paly well in BR, or sure sued to.  Will be a 2:30 kick.  Expanded stadium has led to lots of empty seats (a problem that many teams are experiencing).  Feels like a game that will be a sweat for the locals.  Who knows.

Ed just wants to win, he can’t even comprehend what a spread is, love the guy but him as a chalk of double digits, ole miss or nothing for me

You didn’t mention coach handsome, if he beats WVU this week they’ll be forced to keep him , +4.5 @ home  fast break hoops game, may see a few dunks if the weather is good

Yeah- I have another week and a half of my 28 at home then it's back out for 28 more- 

I was smashed and found a live feed on my laptop! I was watching in disbelief as by the time I found the game the Rainbows were down 14-0! Made a couple of several live bets, went 2-2 and finally passed out sometime in the 4th quarter- lol

Totally agree on the LSU game- more than likely I will sit it out but I will see if I can pick up any tidbits of information on some of the LSU and Ole Miss forums and share them on here-

Coach Handsome.  peace_5  Didn't we both call the ML on that one?  What I sure didn't call was a cakewalk in Stillwater.  I'd love to see Tech keep My Boy.  He's kind of the Coach Ed of Lubbock.  WVU has historically had Tech's number.  I recall them beating me out there as a small dog a few years back.  I might be overly giddy from Purdue win last weekend.  Prolly not a lot of value against desperate Huskers team.

huskers are miserable at best, terrible on both lines but this spot really favors them, Brohm & Co definitely further along than Frost at the moment, I think it takes Frost 2 more years , he needs some dudes in there, has to be hard to recruit to Nebraska in 2018, he’s got a long road ahead because those fans will be expecting huge things year 3 

Coach handsome is doing ok after last week, loss to ole miss was bad though, WVU a bit more balanced but counting on Dana with that fave role would be risky, Tech is going to score on them.  Should be great watch if you like offense & I do

WF D was pretty awful, they fired their DC after the game and haven't named a new one.  Rice can score and WF QB is still a FR, Hinton was back for ND but was playing WR mostly. Saw the D play out with BC offense, they made Brown look like Brady.  Maybe 24.5 too much, maybe caution on ND...although not a fan of Stanford w/ no Pac 12 refs to help them win.

Old Dominion is on the radar, that was the backup QB LaRussa who put up 494 yds vs Va Tech.  ECU got the desperate win vs NC a couple of weeks ago. Could be sleeping on OD new QB.

Agree w/ Maine, BC looks juicy, Temple +3 TO advantage but still gave up 400 yds  and 32 1st downs to Tulsa at home.

QBs concerns at both VT and Duke, watch injury reports.  UCF D has fallen off pretty bad, but Pitt is not the team to take advantage of that.

S. Car got a boost f/ D. Mason making street fighting comments.  They got physical w/ Vandy.  Physical, a word I heard to describe the Kentucky team several times this yr.  Should be interesting.  Not all that impressed w/ Kentucky, can't pass, 2ndary looks vulnerable.

NC State has a great QB but can't run the ball.  We know nothing of their D yet.

Mich St can't run the ball.  Had a D TD, a fake FG for a TD, and 75 run on a jet sweep surprise when running out the clock.

Utah no impressive SU off a BYE, they have no offense.  Wash St looks solid and think D is under rated.

Oregon St is not same offense w/o QB Jake Luton.  Tennessee is JUST AWFUL.  Auburn put up a whooping 203 yds of total offense but Arky team is messy w/ ST and penalties.

TCU and Miss St just looked a little off, I would expect a bounce back...esp Miss St cause FLA can't stop the run.  Texas as a favorite on the road is not a good idea, no matter who they are playing.  KSU won SU like 5 straight, they are not good but TX has OU on deck an off USC/TCU wins.  WVU D maybe better than we think??? dunno they cruised to that win, maybe worth a bet that Handsome gets smoked and fired.

Two more.

Don't get fooled by Florida, Colo St is awful and they had just got the monkey off their back beating Arkansas and then mountain team travels to swamp for meaningless gm.  Scores going to show FLA w/ blowout wins but they are bad.  -7 and a bottle of Kentucky's best is a very nice early Christmas.

What do we make of Colorado now?  Nebraska is awful and got gashed.  Colorado St is awful and can't run the ball.  Colorado can't run the ball and other opponent was New Hampshire.  Chip could get his first win?? dunno but double digits probably too many.

USCe will beat UK.. Kentucky has a salty defense and took advantage of Miss St sleep walking. Miss St can be a top SEC contender “if” the QB manages the game. 
USCe has a QB that can throw accurately. And a salty defense. UK will get a lot of love just like Vandy did last week. But USCe will win that game! IMO of course. 

Ohio St -4 vs PSU? Why should I not take THE Ohio st black eyes here? I know the secondary just gave up 7,641 yds to TCU.. but Urban Liar is back. He will fix that right???

I am an Ole Miss graduate who lives a half hour from Oxford. I can give you my two cents although it may not be worth that much.

I will be taking LSU large as I feel this has the makings of a 49-21 type game. The Ole Miss defense is the worst I can remember in quite some time. The Tigahs will be able to move the ball at will on the ground and look for them to have several big scoring plays off play action. Coach O will want to make it as ugly as possible. I think he learned a lot from his epic failure at Ole Miss on how to manage players and a program. (I had a current NFL lineman who played under Orgeron that his legs were burning from the pregame Walk of Champions on the day they were supposed to play Bama because O practiced them so hard).

The Rebel offense is loaded with talent. The run game has been great this year but against bad defenses (SIU, Kent St, Texas Tech - they returned their entire D from last year but they were trash). The Rebels will need to rely on big plays because I do not see them sustaining long drives. They do have tremendous big play ability and but I do not see them scoring more than 3 TDs. The win against Texas Tech looks decent after what they did to OSU but their starting QB was injured on either the first or second possession of the game which was a huge break for Ole Miss.

LSU runs and throws for 250+ and forces Ole Miss into at least 2 turnovers to win this one big.

Thanks for post, the fact they only put up 7 at home on Bama is sort of telling, you knew Bama would spark them but almost everyone on the schedule will score more than 7 on Bama , that was basically the super bowl in Oxford 

issue for backing LSU is basically what they did last week, Ed just wants to win, he doesn’t think about covering, they sat on that lead last week & left the back door wide open, maybe he decides to make a statement because he’s playing former school, you may have point

Betting on Ed as a dog or a spread to just win a game seems more logical than laying double digits with him based on what I’ve seen

I could see them covering because ole miss has no defense but I could also see them scoring 20 points & winning 20-10




Btw - women in the grove , so good, what a cool spot BUT it’s hard to beat Wayne Toups , drinking & some etouffee, Ole Miss crowd a bit more “uppity” than the good hearted Cajuns

wahoo. curious to hear your thoughts on ND. i played them at 4 and 5.5, i love the situational spot they're in at home against stanford after getting embarrassed last year. i think they'll have a huge chip on their shoulder after that and will be playing to shred stanford. stanford has been far from impressive all season and i would play this game all the way to 7. curious to hear your opinion. solid pick on ttu, by the way. i was unfortunately on the other side of that meltdown

You know you're a degen when you pay $49.99 to watch Army-OK on PPV. Well, thanks in part to this thread, I had a few bones on the Cadets. Last minute. Oh, what the hell. Why not? Truly the most entertaining game I've watched in a long, long time.
