It's actually a scary spread to bet on.  I think I'll pass on Stanford this week.  Bookmakers aren't stupid, they have better info than you or I do.

agree.. that ND spread shocked me the most when i saw it, but the more i think about it, the more i like them in this game.

should have seen opening lines on some of these.  I got Stanford at -17 -120 on 1/2 buy.  Think Wisconsin rolls (opened around 17 too) but living in LV I watched that UNLV game and I thought UNLV's offense gashed them pretty good - just couldn't convert red zone.  I wouldn't play OSU but laying over 3 TD's with that D scares me a little.

What book is that in Las Vegas?  Those are some generous opening lines.  

Why is everybody so high on Whiskey and Cardinal this week?  Both teams they play lost to non FBS opponents... I smell a skunk on at least one.  I'm staying away from both games most likely , but I am taking a look at Duke.

Books don't care about last week, people do.

All they talk about is last week, thus they will be on Michigan, South Carolina, MSU, etc. all the typical stuff

How can they not?

Team A looked really good last week, Team B looked really bad...

Therefore Team A will beat them....

Kentucky laying 12.5...which means Kentucky is the play.

Alot of suckers gonna lose bigtime on CMU.  Hook, line, and sinker.

I will be one of them.  I'll take my chances fading a team laying 12.5 that was unable to rush or pass for triple digit yardage against Western Kentucky.  If the Chippewas manage to find the end zone one time, they'll almost certainly cover.

I can't even make a case for Kentucky winning this game, much less covering 12.5.

With Vaitaua, and Kappernick gone that was 35 of their points every game. Ive watched the QB for nevada , he is lanky like kappernick but cant run as effectivly. Freshman running back mike ball will have a long day. he 4 strongest players 2 of which are on offense at wide reciever would not be getting honor with kappernick and Vaitaua so they mean nothing, defensivly even the best teams in the country would struggle against this Oregon offense, oregon dominates by 42

Right but if you forget about last week and pretend this week is the season opener - why aren't Stanford and Wisconsin laying another TD.  They should both be close to -28 if the season started Saturday.  The lines tell me something about those games - either play Ore. St or Duke or don't play it at all.
