I like S.C also.... But something is telling me Georgia is better than they looked. The truth is Boise just smacked them around. Hell, Boise would have done that to about 95% of the teams in the country.
I need to really think about this game. Something is just holding me back from pulling the trigger on S.C
Seeing Richt on the sideline last Saturday night brought back visions of Mike Shula .... You have months to prepare for the season opener against a top ranked team ... and first offensive series you go 3 and out with three flags? and when the camera zoomed in on Richt after a Boise score.... he was smirking and clapping ... exactly as ole Mikey baby used to do. I maybe wrong, but he looks lost as a lamb. Again congrats on an awesome week buddy

Irish - Hard to imagine a team working harder in practice this week than the Irish .... Kelly getting some frustration out, and should have them ready.
ronwoodjzs - thanks and good luck
cherokee - lets hope they cash for us
train - 3-0 would be nice ... with a short card this week I may have to tail you on a few winners

I went 3-2 last week and will hopefully post my usual five later in the week.
Hope you and yours are well
Hey brother ... good to see you around... you are just the man I need to talk to... please convince me that Arkansas will cover the 36 this weekend... My feelings are they should cover 50, but with no real big test until our matchup in week 4 just a little concerned with them not showing much, and pulling starters fairly early. Petrino likes to see the scorboard light up.... but in these games I'm always leary about the backdoor cover.
Me and mine are great, thanks for asking .... hope all is well with you and yours ... best of luck buddy, and look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Pigs.

Normally I'd never feel comfortable about taking road chalk in Ann Arbor, Athens, and Auburn in the same week but I like 'em all.
It's crazy that an SEC team that has won 16 games in a row is a 7 point underdog at home but it is well deserved in this case. Last year the Tigers averaged 271 yards rushing per game (14 games) and their worst effort was against Alabamawith 111 yards. Last week Auburn could only muster 78 yards rushing and 2.6 ypc.against UtahState. They were equally as sucky on defense as they let the Aggies roll up 448 yards of offense and score 38 points.
Mississippi State meanwhile was the only team last week that's offense had over 300 yards both rushing (309) and passing (336). I believe that the Bulldogs are equal or better than the Tigers at every position other than TE (Phil Lutzenkirchen) and I don't think that homefield is enough to keep MSU from having their way with AU on saturday.

The forecast for the Bama / Penn St game saturday is calling for rain .... what was already more than likely going to be a low scoring game just got lower.
