a nice break from the action in Week 12, not sure what to make of Ohio St losing, I knew they didn't look good all season but it seems as though the locker room has some issues as well with EE and CJ, they are the ones making it known but is Urban losing control there?  something is off, just think the pressure of defending champ and passionate fan base is too much for some kids to overcome, if they beat Michigan then they are still alive with those Big10 voices being on the committee, don't count them out just yet, that committee loves some Buckeye

was pleasantly suprised in Baylor showing some heart and basically dominating with Bama like run defense, Billings was awesome and it is almost completely healthy, Stidham is really hurting but our 3rd string almost gives me that Ohio St kind of feel from last year with his ability to create with this feet, he has the best WR group in the country, just has to get the ball to them, thought both lines of scrimmage were dominated by Baylor and to win despite having 3 turnovers is awesome, reallly proud of the Bears

Bama did what they needed to do, when you play teams like that you have to own them and they did, being a Baylor fan I know what it's like to play the cupcakes of the world, will Auburn give them a scare for a quarter or so?  probably so, but that's about it, Bama wins with ease

not sure how anyone could think Florida is a top10 team, they have a nice defense but it literally takes them 15 quarters to score 40 points, that offense has no business in any sort of hunt for any sort of title, if Cook is healthy this week then fsu should muster up enough offense against one of the best defenses in the country and pull out a win, don't see how you could expect anything but a low scoring grinding type of battle in that one since FSU hasn't score at all away from Tally, game could be 10-6 with either winning, will be ugly football to watch unless you enjoy punting and awesome defense, I don't

Notre Dame is banged up and not deep enough to be a top4 team, OU, Bama, Baylor etc would easily beat that team in my opinion, that's just me, I do like them but not enough to give them a playoff spot unless they win at Stanford and lots of others fall in the next two weeks

Iowa just keeps on winning and while I don't think they are playoff material either, if they keep winning and win the Big10 title then you have to put them in the playoff, undefeated and winning a major conference has to be in, even if they will be a sacrificial lamb in the end, zero chance of that team winning a national championship but a good story for their fanbase, I know some Iowa fans, great people

Houston is banged up and came down to earth by losing at Uconn, Memphis has completely died and wishes they could play Ole Miss every week because these AAC teams are tough on them , Herman & Fuentes both need wins if they want the big jobs that will be open at the end of the year like a Georgia, LSU, SCaro, etc

speaking of LSU, I like this job, think that is a gold mine for the right coach, if they got an offensive mind there to go with their defensive talent every year then we could be talking title town again, if they had any brains at all in Baton Rouge then they would get Briles at about 7 mill a year and start wiping the floor with teams like Ole Miss & Arkansas, Patterson would also be a great fit there with his new coordinators, what a great job LSU is, they need to hire someone that can get the fans fired up again, LES is a great guy but his teams can't beat Bama anymore and if you lose to Bama every year then you better beat the rest of your schedule, I'm not sure I could fire him but I think they will, I really do

Georgia could also be a great job with the right hire, lots of talent around that place and Athens is awesome for a college town, they need to move on as well and get new blood in there, UGA should win the east every single year 

I don't think SCaro is on the same level with those two as far as jobs go, I'd rank them 1. LSU 2. UGA 3. Scar, just my opinion 

it's a great time of year to watch college, so many of the good teams have crucial injuries to key players making it much more of a strange year

it would seem that Bama is the healthiest of the big dogs and they have a layup into the playoff having to play Auburn and Florida, as the weeks go by they are looking better for a title chance, health is the key and they have it right now, they also have a great defensive line

     With you on several of these.  I've already locked in Alabama, Indiana, Baylor and UCLA.  Lean Navy.  Will be looking into Stanford.  Would like ND to lose another game, just need to make sure I'm betting this one with my head.

Ind and Bama are my top two plays right now. Going stay away from the Mich game. Leaning Fla, Pitt, Ucla and Okl. Good luck and happy holidays

I really hope Bama meets Clemson in the playoff

Like Stan -3. Prosise out for ND will force Kizer to make plays against a stout stan pass D. He had to pick up the slack last week and tossed 3 INTs. Also B2B weeks in Boston then Cali...that's a lot of travelling and they looked worn out by the end of BC. 

I see covers reporting the line went from +2 to -3.5 already. I like at -3, any shot it comes back down? Can't imagine the masses loving Stan after a few stumbles this year.

not sure since they are on the road against a rival, Fedora has never given me a secure feeling, I feel for anyone who bet them yesterday, they were the absolute correct play and to not cover that game was absurd, those fumbles are inexcusable and my guess is he will have a tough week of practice

the over might be the better bet here as State can put up points also, just feel the Heels have a slightly better defense and can put more scores together, I may add over also

the line I saw had Florida favored earlier by 1.5, can they score 2 points to cover?  may need 3 games to get there, that offense is straight up offensive to watch, do love their defense though, they can ball on that side

Ind and Bama are solid IMO, I'm on them, Purdue and Auburn are both complete trash

no idea if I will bet the Michigan game but thinking Harbaugh can find a way to upset the Bucks (I know they are favored but everyone will still consider it an upset if Michigan wins), tough game with Bucks coming off a loss, they could mail it in or play with their hair on fire

not sure what I think on OU/OSU game, if Trevor Knight starts then I'll be on Okie Light, he isn't good enough to beat anyone except Bama in that BCS bowl 

like UCLA to beat my fighting Trojans

I've seen Bama more this week now, got a few games of them to watch, they are better than I thought they were but even still, they only beat LSU by 14, Tenny by 5 and lost to Ole Miss

if they can't roll those teams then not sure they will roll Clemson, Watson is better than anything they've seen in the SEC by a longshot, the thing that would hurt Clemson is they don't have a healthy dominant wideout, you need a few to hurt Bama the most, they also need to speed up the tempo a touch

I think Alabama is really good, I do, they have a pimp defense but it's hard for me to think they walk over other good teams because they beat the other teams in their conference, this isn't 2008 anymore where the SEC is dominant over everyone else, as a matter of fact I think it's Bama and a bunch of decent squads in the middle and some awful ones at the back, the SEC is the worst it's been in a long time, those teams literally have zero QB going on except for maybe Dak, he's ok, I do love Florida's defense (that's a nice group)

Bama will never face the teams that present them the toughest matchup because the Big12 probably won't get a team in, the committee hates the conference, that's very clear

TCU would have rolled Bama like a breakfast burrito last year in that playoff, that was the best team in the nation and they weren't in the playoff so they were stuck taking out their frustration on an Ole Miss team that spent half the season being in top 3, only beat them by 40, no big deal, if Patterson wasn't a great guy it would have been 60, Ole Miss kicked a mercy FG to get on the scoreboard in that one, it was epic stuff 

Bama would beat this year's TCU team without a doubt in my mind, they have way too many injuries and not near the defense they had last year, I'd take Bama this year in that game

it's all about matchups, Bama does matchup very well against Notre Dame, Iowa, Michigan St, Florida etc

I personally think Baylor is their toughest matchup with this year's teams, OU & Clemson can compete with them as well and can both win if they played well, both big12 teams are better matchups than Clemson though IMO

 Bama still may beat all those teams if they are as good as many think but I think they'd at least put up the best game, they are by far the healthiest of all the good teams

100% health for all then I'd take several teams over them

the way to beat Stanford is lots of tempo and solid QB play, Stanford has zero depth on defense so tempo hurts them (see Oregon), I learned that one the hard way, I just think Notre Dame has achieved all they can with their backup QB you know, they've won some close games (UVA should have beat them), Notre Dame faces all the pressure in this one, Stanford can play free out there in front of the home crowd, I'm confident they are the better team this week in that game, I'd take them up 5.5 & would have bet them at that number if it opened there, I missed best line but don't care, happy with 3, if Notre Dama is better on Saturday then I'll be wrong

don't think the line comes back, think it keeps going up during week as the pros bet it, the everyday guy may bring it back some on Saturday

I agree with your top 4, though like everyone else, I was not impressed with OU in week 12...If they want to make the final four, they need to destroy their in-state competitor (My Texas Longhorns are their biggest rival) in week 13.      It has been a historic season for me from a capping perspective.     Thanks for your insight.    You are a legend.   GL this week!

you win because you bet what you like and don't get caught up in public/sharp garbage and line movement BS, you mostly bet favorites and choose the right ones, that is a solid way to do it in college, there are always easy favorites on the board, you just have to find them, you've done that this season, fun to watch others win and we have some guys killing it on this forum in 2015

I've bet your Hoosiers already, what are your thoughts on your Horns, you think they beat Tech?  I think they can run on Tech but will they stop their offense?  I'm torn on that game, almost no feel for it, a few friends of mine like Tech and few like Texas

I am on several of those plays as well- I was leaning on USC so I may have to look at that one a bit closer- My sentiments exactly on LSU- my biggest question is if you are the AD for LSU do you fire Miles then go after a Patterson or Briles hoping they break away or do you somehow contact them before hand to get a feel for what they would do? If LSU fires Miles, and then Patterson or Briles turns down the job then what? (if they even go after one of those guys)- 

LSU is a bad matchup for the Aggies but I hope that Texas A&M finds a way to win that one- if LSU loses this game then Miles is out- I am almost positive of that- 

Texas/Texas Tech over may be a good one to bet on this week

Good luck this week- hopefully Baylor can sneak into the playoff somehow- I would love to see that offense matchup against a Bama or Clemson

Think UVA can beat VT this weekend or at least stay within the number.  VT played inspired ball against UNC, but if it wasn't for UNC fumbling the ball all over the place at the end VT would have lost by 2 TD's.  UVA can put up some points just wander if the defense can make enough plays.

Very nice posts in here buddy.. I agree 100% that TCU was the best team last year and would've put a beaten on Bama or ANYONE else at the end of the year!! They were the hottest team in the nation at the right time for sure! Now this year, Baylor should be top 4 !! They showed last week they are a really good team and they played very good defense! The QBs getting hurt are concerning, but if Stidham is a go, then that team is a top 4 team NO DOUBT.!! Mich St will get a bump for beating tOSU, but wtf did they beat? OSU has been a fraud all year long.! Now they lose and Mich St is this crazy good team? At least with Bama you can see the dominance on defense, with Mich St it looks more like the other team effin up! Kinda like ND in 2012.. MSU will be a lay up for Bama, Clemson, OU, Baylor... If you want the 4 best teams, that will challenge each other, 2 of them are in the Big12.. OU & Baylor.!! ND and MSU are not gonna beat those 4 teams above, sorry, just have no shot.

LSU could win by 50 this weekend and Les would still be gone.  I, personally, would give him another year, but they aren't going to.  They are just trying to work out the details - basically whether Les gets, or wants, a victory lap at home this week, or if they just put Ogeron in there now.  I would be very surprised if they have someone else lined-up.  The powers-that-be in Baton Rouge have been so focused on getting rid of Miles for the past five years, I think they've forgotten that they'll actually need a successor.  I forget what the buy-out is, but I'll be it's 20X what it would have cost to keep John Chavis as DC last year ($250,000?).  I wasn't the biggest Chavis fan, but the defense would have played better under him than it has without him.  In my not-terribly-informed opinion, the dirty little secret in BR this year was that the QB was better than they thought he was. If they'd given him a little more freedom, and not let teams put 8, 9, 10, 16 men in the box, it might have been a (somewhat) different season.

Take a look at Tulsa -6.5 at Tulane for your card. I cannot find one advantage on the side of Tulane that will allow them to cover this line unless I am missing something, but I rechecked, rechecked and rechecked it.
