lost last week. it happens. pretty disappointing, though. no time last week, no time this week. just some quick thoughts:...May you have a Fantastic Week ... enjoy Life Brother
Tough week for me last week Sizzle as well. I am shocked Illinois played that poorly. They just didnt show up at all in that first half except on defense. Michigan played like crap but Illy was worse.
How do you feel about these games?
ASU -11 vs Arz I think ASU could name their score here. They are 5-0 at home and coming off two losses while Arz is awful and 0-5 on the road. I know this game is typically close but this year could be different.
Stanford -17.5 vs Cal. I won't be playing this game but I was curious about your thoughts. I know you said teams that lose the first time usually have a hangover the next week but Stanford is playing their rival. Cal is also terrible on the road. No line value IMO.
Oklahoma -15.5 at Baylor. I know you rarely lay road pts but shouldnt OU be able to name their score here. They beat this team by 30 last year and they had a bye last week. They could be in a look ahead spot though with Ok State coming up.
Arkansas -13 vs Miss St. Arkansas has an avg Def but man can they score. They could be looking ahead to LSU next week. MSU blows but nearly 2 tds is a lot.
OSU -6.5 vs PSU. Buckeyes could be looking for another home win here vs a highly ranked Penn St. OSU is shit on offense so 6.5 could be too much too lay here. A no play for me.
Army +13.5 at Temple. Can Army keep it within 2 tds here?
Wisconsin -14 at Illy. I wont bet Illy again after that performance last week. I should have learned after the Penn St game even though they covered there. Illy has the worst OL in America. Wisconsin should play well but they suck on the road. No line value here IMO.
Michigan -3.5 vs Nebraska. A toss up too me. Michigan plays better at home. Can they pull it out?

On paper, yes. But what exactly does Clemson have to play for?
Did you see their fans storm the field last week? They didn't storm the field because they beat lowly Wake, they stormed it because they clinched the ACC Atlantic. It's perfectly understandable if they step back and take a deep breath.
They don't really have a shot at the BCS Championship game, not with that loss to GT. On top of that, they've got their rival (South Carolina) on deck. Again, I ask, what do they have to play for?
I'm beginning to think NC State 1st half is a great play.

Completely different situations... those wins against Auburn and FSU were way at the beginning of the season, and involved a Clemson team that was hungry and looking to prove a point. Now, they've clinched the ACC Atlantic, nobody would blame them if they took their gas off the pedal just a bit.
In addition, it wasn't hard to get motivated to play their subsequent games against FSU and VT. Those are two marquee programs. Playing those two teams is not like playing NC State. It's not easy to "get up" to play a squad like that.
Combine the two, and this sets up perfectly for a play on NC State in the first half. I don't see how anyone can say those spots after the Auburn and FSU games is comparable to the spot this week. It's like night and day.
