Won a lot of games last week. Won my top play on Washington, but lost my next two biggest on Bama and Navy over.
I know it is not allowed to criticize a service academy or suggesr them of dishonesty, but Navy might have been shaving points. Had Navy, Navy team total and over...
If Bama gets the dropped TD in the first half and the TD they fumbled away I think the final score would have bee 28-10. LSU was lucky to control the ball as long as they did with long drives even if they didn't score a lot of points off those drives.
Lost the Arkansas pick because Ark among other things missed a 25 yard FG, and went for it on 4th down near the end of the game when a makeable FG attempt puts them up 7. This is the other game I lost where there is no reason for Arkansas not to have shaved points, with John L needing money so bad...
I lost Maryland (among other games)and that was just a bad pick.
Early picks to follow.

Arkansas had the ball inside the 20 three times in the last two minutes and came away with zero points. All they needed was a FG. That was a bad beat, I was on it too. My second worst of the week, behind Pitt/ND under.
I almost followed you on UDub and chickened out at the last second. Should've followed. BOL this week

Home field is huge in the SEC when there is crowd noise. Bama crowd will be in a frenzy early.
A&M is travelling for the 5th week out of 6!!!!
There are 4 good rush defenses in the SEC. Bama, LSU, South Carolina, Florida. A&M scores 40 to 60 a game vs bad rush defenses, but Mnaziel can scramble "at will". A&M scored less than 20 vs Florida and LSU.
People see A&M averaging their 40+ PPG, they see all the Manziel highlights, and they think A&M will score 28 points. But Bama will shotdown
A lot of people think this is a letdown spot, after a big win, but Ithink Bama will be angry after almost throwing the game, and will be motivated not to let "Johhny Football" run all over their home field.

I am still on board with Bama.

Georgia -15. UGA could start slow, and cover this number easy.
NorthWestern +12 - NW is off a bye..
Indiana +6 - I am drinking the Indiana KoolAid,,,
Boise -29.5 - get health
Flor St -13 (half unit)
Akron -14 (half unit)
Ohio -3.5 (half unit)
UCF -12.5 - UCF plays great defense, runs the ball very well, and passes decently. UCF is in my top 15 or 20
Temple +11 (half unit)
UNLV -2.5 - COl St is so bad. UNLV coach took a while to get his system in place. Col St had trouble beating Hawaii at home...
Wyoming PK - I like NM in certain spots, but this isn't one of them. Wyoming is good on the road in conference, and NM has only beat really bad teams (Hawaii, NMSt, Texas St, Southern). NM runs for 300+ yards a game, but they complete almost no passes. The problem is once you get into a 3rd and long you are screwed. Wyoming has played good enough to beat NM in some of their losses TY.
Buffalo +3.5 - should be a close game, I will take the 3.5. Oliver and Neutz are very good weapons, and Licata is building confidence. Western is in a EMU/CMU sandwich.
Oregon -27.5 - Cal needs a lot to go right to get this cover. Cal has so many injuries. They need the offense to play mistake free, and the defense to get about 6 stops. Marnard is out but the backup is probably better.
BC +18.5 (half unit)
EMU +2 (half unit)
UVA +1.5 - UVA is a better team than Miami, catching points at home.

Hope sack Maynard plays I'd max bet Oregon if he does
Maynard is listed as out.. as is his brother. Bigelow & Harper need to score some points for the Bears to cover here.. and Oregon's defense is mediocre. Oregon probably get out to their typical big first half lead, pulls the starters, and the back door is WIDE open 4th quarter. 27.5 seems to be begging for Duck money.
Oregon is coming off SC and has Tree on deck. Historically they play very, very lackadaisically @ Berkeley.

Oregon's defense isnt mediocre i think the one safety who replaced Boyett got exposed they went over the top at him continuously and he made very little plays, Cal will struggle to score more then 14 i agree tho, i was thinking of Fading Oregon here then saw the line and dont see how i can

OK not mediocre.. just not as good as everyone made it out to be prior to the SC game. The O-line of SC abused Oregon's defensive front all game long. Secondary problems vs. SC were to be expected IMO.
Not sure if Cal can score enough either. Sorry to highjack the thread Thorpe. Carry on.

Loving UCLA and looking hard at Utah this week. Any thoughts on these games? With you on Georgia for sure as well as Zips over the minutemen... GL this week Thorpe!

Appreciate the discussion, no apology needed...
Oregon may have struggled in Berkeley in the past, but those Cal defenses were a lot stronger against the run than this year's defense.
Also, remember, the last time Oregon was here, Cal faked numerous injuries to slow down the Oregon offense. The D Line coach behind that is now at Wash, and I don't think that happens this time. And Oregon's offense is a lot stronger this year because both of their QBs now are far better than their previous QB.
It is a flat spot for Oregon, but also a flat spot for Cal, who can't go to a bowl, and put a lot of effort into the Wash game which was prime time.
I took Oregon, but nearly as big as I took Washington LW.

I will be on the Washington/Utah Under. Washington plays a lot better at home, and already beat Ore St and Stanford, who I think are better teams than Utah. Utah is playing a lot better of late, but that has been at home, where they have a nice HFA.
Both teams are committed to running the ball and playing good defense, which tells me Under.
UCLA would seem to be the play, but Wash St can be a tough place to play. Still thinking that one over...Cal ran all over Wash St though, so you'd think UCLA could do the same. But this time of year you can have some winter weather in Pullman (which may hurt Wash ST more since they can't run, but most of UCLA's roster may have never seen snow before)

Great feedback, Under in Utah/Wash does make a great deal of sense as opposed to the side. I was just thinking that the two meaningful home wins Wash has influenced this number but I would have preferred that Utah didn't just spank the crap out of the Cougars. I think Leach has LOST this Wash St squad for sure, essentially called his kids efforts a cowardice one and then suspends Wilson... I need to remember this is the NCAA and things don't always pan out as they seem. THX again and GL this week Thorpe

may be a flat spot for the ducks but the way i see it, as long as they keep getting disrespected by having any other ranking but '2' they will keep playing with a chip on their shoulder

Also a flat spot for Cal maybe. Last week was a primetime game, and their last chance to salvage a bowl. Another 2 key guys got hurt too..
