JN.....like most of those.....

BUT.....

TCU off several tough games....
   *@ Okie St where some players ADMITTED they quit
   * a 3 OT home loss to TT
   *HUGE road win over Baylor (just after losing QB
     recall)
    now ....with QB hurt (severity unknown) they travel
    to W Virginia?....Dana H embarrassed ...off 2 ugly
    losses and off bye.....Frogs also have K St on
    deck....Frogs are too young/thin to trust here

Terps....4th string QB now OFY...their starting QB this week?....true FR LINEBACKER  Shawn Petty....still might work...but........

Boston Coll?......NO....a terrible road team off big/last minute win.....with huge game (to them) with Notre Dame on deck.....Wake with extra rest....off nasty loss (quality opponent)....needing bowl wins

USF....has lost 12....of last 13 BE games they have played....UConn weak but off bye

Texas may be worth a shot...as Tech off 4-5 tough challenges....I would think they play well here...but also might have flat out quit.....remember Texas had a tough time stopping Kansas wtf...........BOL........

You were dead on your thoughts about Texas . Had to pull a Houdini to beat Kansas.

I would appreciate your thoughts on the following games. I am looking for the top 6 ML plays from the list.

1) Texas State at Utah State
2) Illinois at Ohio State

  *kinda no way....very slight chance...Akron done OK on the road....can move it some

5) Memphis at Marshall
  *ditto....Marshall D weak so vulnerable
 
6) Troy at Tennessee
  *still playing hard...Troy beat up

7) San Jose State at Idaho
   *Idaho done...QB (all they have)....is suspended

8) Pitt at ND
   *off huge win.....no

9) Kansas at Baylor
   *Bears should slaughter KU

10) Easter Michigan at Ohio
   *on weekday game...slim to none

11) Missouri at Florida
    *off loss.....Mizzou to beat up to challenge
      Gator D > low risk

College Injury Report sliding.... much is left out ...too slow to update

Ain't that the truth.  Last week they were wrong on all 4 USM QBs.  Favors was listed as out (it had been announced that he would start), and Campbell, Lloyd, and Alford (all of whom were OUT) were not mentioned.

*Richt seldom has his team ready to play (it seems) in these spots....off a huge win them with expectations...........vs a tough team like Ole Miss

I kinda wrote that Bama game (vs Rebels) as a fluke
   *but it doesn't appear the Tide really takes games off

Bama really only 1-2 decent drives offensively the entire game....only managed 305 TO and 3.7/rush....key INT and a long KR for TD was really the difference

Rebels should be able to move the ball well enough to stay in this one......AND can bring some heat (#2 SEC TFL).... to bother Murray...who has played poorly when pressured (albeit SC and Fla)...

note > after playing Fla...vs an SEC opponent....Ga is 0-3 ATS....and lost 2 SU..... Ole Miss HC Freeze (tremendous job so far)....has covered 17 of last 20 games he's coached > going back to LY .....(whatever that's worth)

*strong play on Ole Miss...tossin' a small wager on the ML also maybe not a bad idea.............any (big) surprise if Rebels win this one?.....BOL Skipster...

thanks for your input, book.  the only thing that gives pause is the weird loss at Texas.  but I'm loving this one.

Bookie, I don't see how Tenn doesn't blow out Troy.  Troy is not even a good SB team.  Tenn should throw the ball over the field against them, like Flo Atl did.  I thought this line should be on the other side of 20.

I'll finalize my stuff and post something Friday afternoon or so....

Ga Tech?....hell no....never/ever bet AGAINST a team in a situation like Maryland...I wouldn't bet ON the Terps...just pass....maybe a small ML bet (Terps)

Gators...strong lean maybe...I like them to play very well here > last SEC game

Clemson.....ditto....Duke has played well at home tho....I would think Duke keeps it close for awhile but is overwhelmed late...flying Dabo's have covered 5/row

Kan St.....I lean the other way.....nothing wrong with playing the hot team tho

AF......always beats/covers vs Army....but too inconsistent/beat up...pass for me but should work

ULM....not a bad idea...BUT....ULL has covered 13 of last 15 X as a road dog < dayum....and ULM has Ark St in 5 days.....

N Illinois.....yep

OU....Big Game Bob sucks sure.....but also happens to be the best coach (prolly).....off a loss
    *winning 20 in a row......15-4-1 ATS....plus line should be 14+...and Cyclones just lost their best player.....LB Knott (Big 12 leading tackler)

If someone put a gun to my head and made me pick 5 right now.....banning me from strip clubs for life if I missed too many........I would go with..........

Thank alot bookie. I will wait till friday n check back. We dont have money lines here, just straight call in bets with a local bookie. Last week was great with ball st, n ill, n indiana. I played the hrll out of it n came out winner. I just cant get that feelings this week on any teams. Anyways thanks again n much respect for your thoughts.

Initially I liked the Vols a lot....but that Tenn D is maybe just too weak to be trusted with 18 points or so..

BUT...in the same situation....(late season non-conf game)...Troy has blown these off the last few years ...and Vols have enjoyed the blow-out............soooo

Troy QB is supposedly healthy .....(and grew up nearby ...was a huge Vol fan.....Troy did have 30 FD and 572 TO vs Miss ST...and can really move the ball when clicking...but they usually fare poorly on the road..
   *Key here maybe is that Troy doesn't bring pressure (only 10 sacks and 4 INT).....and Vols protect well (#5 nation sacks allowed).....so Bray should have all day
to throw....(Troy pass D #76 in Steele's ratings)

?? mindset of Vols (seem OK)...maybe makes this a small kinda play only ........and (like Troy) they make too many mistakes to be trusted.....recall only beat Akron 47-26 (-32)............
