When all is said and done, hope you have a great year. If you ever get down to Gville for a game, would love to have a couple of cold ones with you.
I actually stopped by the swamp on my way to the 2009 ACC championship game... I wanted to see it in person. Nice campus, nice people....
I will say this about my thoughts on the stadium ( which btw, we actually walked into the stadium with no problems and onto the field and took pics )......
The stadium is much more intimidating on TV rather then in person...being honest and not taking a shot a Florida or anything. The seats were nice because I noticed they were actually spaced out nicely so people could have a little room.
But, I will say this.....and don't blow up on me. Clemson's death valley is much more intimidating in person... I don't know how the games are " live " in the Swamp.... But in Clemson, it's insane.

Would love to go to Death Valley as well. However, you really have to experience a SEC game that means something in The Swamp to get a true feel for the intimidation. Or a FSU game for that matter. If you are interested or near Orlando any time this college football season, let me know and I will see what I can do for tickets.

Heading to my first game in Death Valley Saturday. Any suggestions on spots to hit in the area Friday night or after the game?
I graduated from Clemson in 03 but when I go back, I go out in Greenville friday night. The reason being is the downtown bars in Clemson are a young crowd and I feel too old (although im only 33) and feel like im the "old guy in the bar" that I used to make fun of when I attended. On Saturday night, the county law is bars must close by 12, so there is a private bar that stays open til 2am, but its so crowded, its not worth it. My advice, stay in Greenville, go out on Main street there on Friday night, then tailgate all day Saturday and head back to gville after the game (since bars will be closing close to the end of the game anyway). Tailgating is awesome there, but if you want to go to a bar before the game, the Esso is a national staple and a must do (took a shot with Brent Musburger there a few years back). Check out Tiger Town Tavern as well. Good luck!

You can hit downtown Clemson... Everything is pretty good IMO. But like that other guy said.... Downtown Greenville is really nice. IMO the nicest " downtown " in the south....
