No sir, but wish you well my friend! I don't know which to trust more this week, my gut or stats!! Gotta live with whichever one, so I'll take the undefeated team on this one!

whodeys....if you get the CMU team in the first half of that NIU game you will be right and they will win SU.....if that 2nd half team shows up they will lose by 21 points.

If CMU wants to win this game a few things need to happen.
1.
Lefevour needs to gain yardage on the ground. I think if he can pick
up 3rd middle to longs like 3 and 5 plus with his feet that will be a
major problem for Ball St. We know he can get yardage with his feet! 2.
Their defense has to make a few plays. They have to get constant
pressure especially in the face of Davis...he isn't very mobile per say
but he definitely has a feel for the pocket and knows when he is in
trouble. The problem with them getting pressure of course is all the
injuries on the defensive side of the ball. If they can force 1 or 2
turnover this game will be within a touchdown no doubt. 3. The
magnitude of this game is going to be great. This is a huge game for
both squads. Remember they are playing at Central Michigan
They are 4-0 at home...which is a wash because Ball st. is undefeated.
Ball St. playing for a potential BCS game, while CMU playing for a
chance to play in the Conference Championship just as Ball St. is. If
Love wasn't hurt yeah I would definetely look over this one a bit
harder. He was an exceptional reciever by the way. I think if the
weather is bad enough it will actually favor CMU in my opinion. They
did have a meltdown last week against NIU in the second half. I think
if they play the way they played in the first half last week they will
have a definetive shot of winning. Everyone needs to realize that CMU
is a good football team. They are still the mack daddy's of the MAC
until Ball St. takes it from them. They need to come in and take their
belt. I'm thinking CMU isn't going to go away easy guys! This is
going to be a great game to watch. Finally we don't have to watch some
b.s. game on Wednesday, we get to watch to squads with a lot on their
hands playing for something. So best of luck all. My money is on The
Chippewas to cover and possibly win this game best of luck amd and
everyone on our side. This one is for all the marbles in the MAC lets
go Chippewas!
Posted this in AMD's thread as well..figured mine needed a little spice as well.

I certainly hope so its not really insight per say its just observations from what I see. I mean I think its very hard to bet games...but from prior experience with playing and all and just knowing the game as well as I do I try to make the best decisions I can. I think this is a good decision. Thanks for the props I hope we are both happy after this one!

This line should be -9.5 or higher but the fact that it is at 7, tells me that the linemakers respect this CMU team. And why not. They are 22-2 in last 24 MAC games (20-5-4 ats), 9-1-1 ats as dogs in the MAC, 11-2 su and 10-1 ats at home in the MAC, won 5 straight against BST including a 20 pts win last season as double digit road dogs. They are 4-1ats as dogs this season. Ball State has been doing well with extremely high and extremely low totals. When favored and totals in the 50's they are 0-2 ATS this season and 0-4 ats last two seasons. The big lines started to catch up with this team late in the season. After a 5-0 ats start they are 1-2-1 ats in last 4. Both teams had similar strength of schedule but Ball State did not play a really good team like Georgia. CMU played three roadies at Big Conference teams. Ball State played just one. It is a last home game for CMU and great opportunity to beat an unbeaten and nationally ranked team. Home conference dogs after two dog wins are 39-17 ats in last 56. In weeks 9 or later, unbeaten road faves of 15 pts or less are 36-67 ATS.
