That guy had NO CHANCE to get to the open receiver....none!
That was not standard receiver bumping. The receiver clearly was bulldozing the DB into the endzone by blocking him on a pass play. The receiver was not hand fighting to get position or trying to run a route.
That was easy offensive interference and "Illegal"
We always get on the refs when they make bad calls. The refs made a good call on that play.

You watch the NBA.
The refs make you earn it on the final possession and will not blow the whistle, even on somewhat hard fouls with a lot of body bumping and contact.
Same should apply here.
Swallow the whistle on these meager nothing "picks" that happen every other play.

I agree football has been ruined by officiating. But the idea that u can't call that in that spot is ridiculous. Y not call something blatantly illegal on the most important call of the game? Nobody impartial thought that was a bad call. Did herbstreit have FSU ml or just stating the obvious?

I think it was called because there were two of the RIGHT THERE and the stupid receivers picking didn't even pretend they were running routes. It wasn't a tough call and yes officials let one of those go a lot but TWO? I'll take it further in my opinion tough not to call that and still have a job after whoever supervises officials reviews the tape.
All the people bitching would you be bitching if it were reversed and FSU did that and got called? I don't think you would. I always ask myself that on these calls before going off. Look at it objectively; I don't know how you don't see offensive PI there. And again there were 2 there where the guys didn't even pretend to run routes.
*I lost on FSU spread won on over and am a Denver Broncos fan don't really have a college team but follow UT and BYU.

Something don't add up here. Nobody who has FSU ML would complain about that call this much. It was clearly pass interference. But could've and probably should've been a no call. Like stated this stuff and holding happens on most plays it's up to the refs when to call it. We've all lost and won bets on stuff like this. But I've never complained about winning a bet on a call like this. That just doesn't make sense at all.
