Tyler Weiss will also miss the game after being sent home from New Orleans by Frank Beamer for missing curfew.

Whether the punishment is too harsh or not can be debated, but at least Beamer practices discipline, unlike some coaches we know in the Big Ten.

This leaves Virginia Tech's kicking situation in disarray, as it would almost be a surprise to see them attempt any field goal of significant length.

Beamer set strict curfews because he can't control his players behavior.

Hoke decided to not impose a curfew and let the seniors police the team. Peer pressure is more effective than locking your players up. VT players hate the curfew and the Wolves are having fun like kids should to celebrate a long year.

Michigan wins big tonight because the team has ENORMOUS RESPECT AND ADMIRATION for Hoke and they will win for him. He is a leader and a players coach.

At SD State he made the mistake of putting tough love and a hard practice schedule with tight curfews and he said his players hated it and responded accordingly on the field.
