UCF vs. UCONN: I NEVER put a play in on a Sunday but this line is dead wrong

Glad to see so many guys loaded up on this one. Clearly you saw the value in this side after watching UCF come a second away from beating Temple last week. UCF's play was even more impressive given Temple win over USF last night.

UConn can be so vanilla and really, the talent simply isn't there to keep up with UCF.

I promised no Odell Beckham backdoor and was true to my word despite the late game jitters on the final drive.

8-2 in our last 10 posts and 73% winners.

Onto the next game.

I like some games tonight but they are not post-worthy.

I do like one NFL game tomorrow and may post it. IT WILL NOT involve the Giants. I am staying far away from my nemesis of the moment.

I'd look elsewhere when looking to the capper you respect who was on UConn. His write-up was grossly flawed.

I credit him with writing something up, I will say that.

And I would stay far away from teams that beat Purdue then play a top-flight team the next week. The shock is too much too absorb.

Still thinking about flaming the trolls who were going berserk in the first half down 13-0. They didn't call the game like last week but they were out in full force.

Maybe I'll go easy on 'em.

But when will they learn? I'm posting free picks here for everyone's benefit and they want me to do nothing but fail.

I write-up them up and outside of this game, think about and research 4/5 games all week and whittle it down to the best one.

Very intrigued by Cincinnati starting Gunner Kiel over ECU.

It's homecoming and if Cincy loses this one they fall to 0-4 in conference. That is unacceptable. That is "Heads will roll" territory. Good psychological angle which makes the coaches take more risks and abandon conservative game play. Restless fan base here too.

I have no idea why Kiel hasn't started a game this year. Clashing with coaches. The concussion. Who knows? They won't say. Now they are raving about him. The kid is a first-rate talent.

It's just too much of an unknown to post it as a play since we haven't seen Kiel start in so long but we get a pure line of -1 at home on homecoming, with all the pressure on Cincy.

They are coming off a buy and that lifeless loss loss against UConn. ECU has moves the ball with the best of 'em on offense but has terrible metrics (awful in the red zone) when they are looked at closely.

It's enough to fool around with for action but simply isn't post-worthy.

Yeah, but even if I won 70% of my picks, I'd be whacked when a team moosed us.

Honestly, it doesn't bother me.

What bothers me more is that I put out a play with solid reasoning and guys just come in and say, "I'm on the other side" without an ounce of reasoning.  

I post these plays so we all can take from the house. That is the goal.
