To me this is a valdez to abreu to Hader game. Astros have
fallen to 3rd in the AL and only lead mariners and rangers
by 3.5 and 4.5 games respectively. Valdez is the stopper
of this team and they need him to be that today. Valdez
has allowed 1 run or less in 5 of 6 starts and 2 runs or less
in 12 of 14 starts with 9 of those 14 being 1 run or less. Giolito
in his last 9 starts has 7 quality starts 1 mediocre start and 1
bad start at philly. In his 7 quality starts he has allowed 1 earned
run or less in 6 of the games for a total 4 earned runs 29 hits
in 44.2 innings with 45 strikeouts and 13 walks and didn't allow
a hr in 6 of the 7 games. His only bad game was a 4 hr start
in philly. Strong pens+ early start brings me to the UNDER 8
HERE.
