Just making a point to back up my "storytelling" theory about a write-up.
People see different things in the same tea leaves - and the way I see them isn't the way you see them, and what is important to me isnt necessarily important to you.
Some of those stats in the first post are important to me, and had something to do with me taking MTSU tongiht. The biggest reason is that I have MTSU as a 6 point favorite (with a lot of subjective input), and I always bet based on that.
But that doesnt sell a book......

Plus - every time matchook is hanging at the very edge of pinnacles line, it seems the lean wins.
Very subjective analysis and observation, but right now you can get Troy +3 +105 at MB, and you have to lay MTSU -3 -105 at pinny. When I see that, it always seems the MB lean wins.

Agree completely, there's nothing someone can say to change my initial handicapping of the game. Usually the only thing that can influence me is an unknown injury I had zero knowledge of.
My main reason for taking Troy ML, is initially I always look to play a dog/value if it's live...and in this case they beat a MTSU team with Dasher at the helm last year. Yes, it was at Troy...but MTSU had a better overal receiving corp last year...some experience at offensive line and they were nowhere near competitive in a 31-7 thrashing.
I enjoy making points for both sides, as I know there's a lot of people who blindly tail. So I don't mind giving my thoughts on why I choose a certain side. I think MTSU's stats are padded due to the cupcake schedule, and would be even more skewed if Dasher had played in the first 4 games...but he would be my ONLY reason for backing MTSU...and he isn't Robinson (The only team I'll back with 1 STUD)

If I'm not mistaken, MTSU's OC is Ron Franklin who was previously the OC at Troy after getting run out of Auburn in less than one season. He runs a spread no huddle offense that is predicated on a ton of screens. Our local high school runs the exact same offense. It is a great offense to run in middle and high school because you can abuse mismatches and without talent and practicing against it every week it is tough to defend. Much easier when the talent starts to level out plus the team you are up against has run the system and knows how to defend it. The Trojans have the Blue Raiders # here. Plus Dashers timing will be off for being out so long.Trojans straight up here for sure.

Im wit KBrick ... troy has played better teams and has been in every game ... i expect a close game to go either way wit that said im on troy +3!!

felt the need to convey what little I did know. I do feel strong about this. Doesn't happen often. Usually read and not respond but have extra time on my hands being on medical leave for work.
