This will be completed in a few posts. No need to rush...
First lets reflect on Ball State at Auburn:
Auburn won 54-30. Didn't cover. Should have, but still didn't. Maybe I capped it wrong in that thinking that AUs scrubs could handle Ball State. The starting D gave up 10 points and 72 yards. 72. The 10 points came on 17 and 18 yard 'drives' because Auburn currently sucks on special teams (except for the 100% fg %).
How can you not find a guy out of 105 players than can catch a punt and not fumble? Why do you fake a punt on your own 38? Maybe to show it to another team? Why now though? Whatever.
On to the O. 560 total yards, 306 passing and 254 rushing. Not bad. 2 turnovers. Not good. 4-10 on 3rd down. Bad considering the competition. Auburn must do better than 40% if they hope to contend in the West, which I think they can. (Notice I said contend, not win. See "ALABAMA") The O came out, as has been the case all year, asleep. When the 2nd quarter started, so did Auburn scoring 26 points. In the 2nd Auburn scored on every possession except whn the faked the punt. The O also amassed over 200 yards (I think?) just in the 2nd.
Overall, as a team, I give the Tigers a C for the game. They will need a B+/A to even think about winning in Knoxville.

They cost WV the cover last night and cost Auburn the cover against Ball State. Crompton has thrown 8 INTs and 7 TDs. Maybe Auburn will 'sneak' by UT.
