Thought on Auburn at LSU and other SEC games

4-2 record on Auburn this year. Didn't play a side in the UK game. It was an awful game to watch. I will review the UK game and post thoughts on LSu later in the week but I want to go ahead and get this out there:
 
Get LSU -8/-8.5 or whatever while you can!
 
I expected this line to be about 14, maybe 13.5. LSU only giving 8 is amazing to me. Like I posted last week, the wheels look to be falling off. That was what I said after the Arkansas game and the UK game confirmed it.
 
Also leans on:
 
South Carolina -12 vs Vandy
UT vs Bama -16
Arkansas +5.5 vs Ole Miss
ULM vs UK -15.5

I am on the first 3 I don't know enough about ULM for the fourth. Arkansas probably wins this game straight up though.  GL.  Sorry that your tigers are having a rough year.

The SC game looks like gold. No opinion on UK. Like Arkansas, they seem to be getting better defensively as the year goes on. Bama plays better disciplined D than UGA, but I can't give up 16, even if they covered that vs the Gamecocks.

Obviously you havent been in the stands this year, or you broke the cardinal rule and drank more than one bottle of bourbon before the games. LSU play calling as been dismal at best, and the only thing I can even talk about right now is the secondary. Defensive and offensive lines have been nonexistent. CS's game against UGA was the best running display for LSU of the season and that was only bc we won the game. The off. line can't create holes for CS and co. and the def. lines can't hold back anything. Jefferson is a young developing QB who only feels comfy throwing to Tolliver or Lafell. Behind a weak front thats a bad combo. Good luck with your -8 play, but to suggest that they should be favored by 14 against anyone is ridiculous, espically an SEC rival.

I tend to take points rather then give them in the SEC but Auburn has appeared to hit the skids - probably look at the under in that game.  I would expect the line to keep climbing with Vandy and if it ever gets to 14 I would take them - the under would probably be a good pick for that game as well although i expect it to come out low.  Unless Mullen calls the plays for both teams next week I can't see Fla covering 3 td's on the road not with GA on deck.  BOL

The only reason why I would take LSU, is that Coach Les has openly stated that he was disgusted with the playcallings for LSU. OC Crowton is on the hotseat, after that Florida game. He never once went deep, put Russell Sheppard in the game, or gave Trindon Holiday the touches he needed to be a gamebreaker. The defense did a good job holding the Gators to their lowest total in two years, but the offense didn't do crap.

I expect LSU to open up the playbook alot more this game, and their defense will begin to look like the "D" they should be.

Game is traditionally an extremely physical, low scoring grinder.
 
I don't expect any different this weekend.

Add to that a shitty LSU O and an Auburn O headed down hill and you have a good under play. Only problem is, will AUs D make LSUs O look like world beaters?

I have been in the stands...the Auburn student section, every game save Arkansas. How big of a bottle is allowed? I am not playing the -8. I am not going to bet against my team, the Auburn Tigers. I have only done it once, WVU last year, $$$$. I, looking through my orange and blue glasses, can't see AU covering this. Biggest reason? Tiger Stadium at night. This team ha not played in a hostile environment this year. UT was not loud and never was really in it to get a chance to be loud.

Is the public going to stay with Auburn after a loss on Nat'l TV to UK? #9 LSU "only" laying 8 at home at night would seem to be a public play like no other to me....

sounds like the (Auburn) Tigers are not 'down'. That is good news, as a fan, for me. I still have not seen why or how Auburn covers...

I don't think it's the public moving this line. Only 42% on Auburn as of now.

LSU offense rated  # 112 , defense # 35

Starting to look at MSU (+23)...

No! I don't think MSU will win. Yes! They could, but highly unlikely. MSU hung with and should have beat (over rated) LSU earlier this year. Bad play calling/execution on the goal line...

I'm very confused why you started this about LSU/AU game, with gat it while you can and now your not taking it?

With you on everything but LSU -8....sorry but while auburn might not have been impressive in the last 2 games, LSU has been downright TERRIBLE in their last 2 considering where they were/are in the rankings.....I like auburn here....and YES its partially because im a fan.
