You're an idiot!  TCU lost 1 game, on the road to Baylor, by 3 points... they should arguably be the #1 seed... no way in hell Ohio St or FSU would beat that team...

To suggest the committee got it right is abysmally retarded!

No worries folks, expect the SAME team back next year.

Yes they do.  They will go 11-1 and 12-0 in the weakest conference in college football and then lose to whoever they play in semifinals.

Let's see how realistic you are.  With Jones at QB, Do you think the Buckeyes would beat Baylor or TCU on a neutral field?

You got it spot on in that word. You can make arguments either way. I think Bama will play Oregon regardless of who 3 and 4 are so it's probably irrelevant but as far as the final 4 TCU got screwed cause they had a crap game to finish their year; not their fault but I think that changed everything with this "week to week assesement" that the committee apparently liked. That's it. Their only hope was for Baylor and Ohio State to have lost yesterday.

With limited mistakes like last night? Absolutely. He has the weapons around him, and has had the playbook for 3 years.

He doesn't have to do it all, JT Barrett didn't do it all either. All the young talent on this team shows....Devin Smith is the only senior on the offensive side.

Who's to say that got it wrong? You? Your the idiot for what your saying about TCU. They don't matter when it comes down to it. Not everyone can make the cut. FSU didn't lose A game. Ohio St played in Big 10 Championship game. And TCU played Iowa St. They get penalized for playing Iowa St on the last day of the season. Not their fault. Those are the breaks tho. Smaller schools get left out on these things all the time. You should know that by now.

First off, let's go ahead and say people who know the difference between "your" and "you're" are more qualified to make decisions than those that don't...

Second, you called me an idiot for what I said about TCU, then you made my argument for me by saying that the rationale for keeping out a team that lost 1 game by 3 points on the road against the highest ranked team that any of the top 3 seeds lost to, should get left out due to random scheduling... even though they beat their weak opponent by 52 points...

TCU is not a "small school"... they play in a much more competitive conference than either Ohio St or FSU...

Only 1 conference had two teams with only 1 loss... and TCU lost to the other team that had only 1 loss, by 3 points, on the road...

They clearly have the best resume of ANY team in CFB!  I thought they should be the #1 seed... I don't care if they are a smaller name school... I thought the whole point of a 4-team playoff was to put the 4 best teams against each other to determine who is best... they only got 2 out of 4 correct... that's ridiculous!

Look at the spreads on these games... neither TCU nor Baylor would be getting more than 3 points against Bama or Oregon on a neutral field... if you don't think Vegas knows who the best teams are, then you don't know much!

TCU's 1 loss is more impressive than the 1 loss by Bama, Ohio St or Oregon... leaving them out of the 4-team playoff officially NULLIFIES any validity in this year's "Championship" Playoff!

And to answer your first question... I AM THE ONE WHO IS QUALIFIED TO SAY THEY GOT IT WRONG!

The B12 has two good teams in it, and Baylor's most impressive non-conf win is vs Buffalo.

Agree w yur points and it is amazing how many of these group thinkers r just repeating herbstreits talking points.  Big 12 doesn't have a conference champ because they r the only conference where all the teams play each other.   To then play a championship game is and has been useless.   If there was a championship it would have been north v south so Tcu would likely be in the south so it would have been baylor v kstate anyway.   Look at SEC if Missouri won the tournament who would be laughing now cuz there would have been no sec teams chosen even though they have best conference.

The problem is simple basic math.  When u have 5 power conferences but can only select 4 well guess what.

U all R wrong. Top 4 are as follows:
    1. ohio state
    2. oregon
    3. Michigan State
    4. Alabama

ohio state wins national championship --- easily. Back up the truck and borrow as much as you can from anyone and everyone. This is what nice retirements are made from......

Ohio State could not beat any of the other 5 teams in contention.  I don't think they could even play within DD of any of those teams.

I feel bad for Briles,Baylor & TCU,but what makes this such a fascinating subject is some teams are suppost to get hurt...suppost to sting.I said all summer a 1 loss Big 12 team won't make it because of a no conference title game.Man,its just hard to leave Ohio St out after just Big 10 title game performance.I do think Winston got absolutely blackmaled by a thieving, losing, vindictive, cleat chasing, loose, malicious, money hungry girl who personally tried to ruin his life.So he got popped get the hook up on some crab claws.Don't u think getting suspended from baseball and publically humiliated.U know what really bothered me was Bama,Oregon get to lose a game, but not FSU.The Noles should have been in the playoffs win or lose Sat night.I think Winston has handled himself pretty good consider how many people have made him such a villian.I'm even sick of Tenn and Ga fans saying"If FSU played in the SEC West they would have 3-4 losses" Newsflash,we will never know so let's quit talking about it.Let it be known that I'm a fan of whoever Bama is playing ,that is who I am playing. Please spare me ",Bring it home Sweet home Alabama," I can't bare to see got 16,? Tshirts from Bammers. Its hard to believe I the 1st National Title I ever saw was The Goal Line Stand Bama 14 PennSt 7..If u would have told that me that was the toughest game Bama had out of 6 National Title games I would've thought u were crazy.I want to see Bama make it to National Title and get BEAT,but it sure wouldn't make me feel bad if Ohio St won.Boom,u talk about how great a coach Urban is so here u have the Saban-Urban  Triology..1st -Tebow plays game of his life to beat #1 Bama.2nd,-12-0 Bama & Fla meet as #1vs #2 Bama sends Tebow out doing Kleenex commercials...2010/was a regular season beatdown w nothing on line...Oregon  vs FSU=WOW ,I can't wait.I see a 42-41 overtime thriller. 2013 Heisman Winner vs 2014 Heisman Winner...I'm sorry but Bama vs Ohio State sounds more exciting than Bama vs TCU or Baylor...Buckeyes want this game solo Bad and if Bama lost they would never hm...I was impressed with that Ohio St Qb.....Rambling....Guschamp...Coming to a Theatre Near You Fall 2015

Here comes the village idiot again, spewing insults and idiocy out of every orifice. New England is now 9-3. Why are you still here ?. Once again everything you say is absolute BS and is continuously proven wrong. TCU should have been # 1. Are you serious? They beat 2 ranked team all year LMAO How many times do have to be wrong to actually learn anything? It's obvious that you think you are very smart. But you arent But every thing you say turns out to be completely wrong. Don't you get tired of looking like an idiot? normally I wouldn't say anything, but your insulting posts really rub me wrong. You constantly wrong about just about everything you say, then get proven wrong and somehow STILL say you are right and hurl even more insults. last I saw you were riding the nuts of Miss state and hurling your know nothing insults like a monkey hurling its feces. And what do you know, they get BLOWN THE F OUT IN THE NEXT GAME LMAO.

    Boom -

Pretty much agree with your top 4 although I would rank FSU lower- The committe is all about the $$$$$$- you know as well as I do- There is more money to be made with Ohio St. being in the final four- It ticks me off but that is the way it is- I think they will be in for a rude awakening in the playoffs along with FSU- Oregon should beat FSU by 17+ in my opinion- The big confences will always get the nod before any schools like Baylor or TCU- just a shame really-

Cherokee- not trying to bash you or Ohio St. but before you talk about TCU and Baylor's schedules being weak- did you look at the Buckeye's schedule? Good luck in the playoffs but I don't see Ohio state getting out of the semifinal- Saban has Urban's number as was the reason Urban quit the Gators program
