The Kirby Smart regime can now be called a failure

He was hired soley to win a NC and when needed beat Ala regularly. The school,admin made a big change in goals and spending after firing a successful, well liked Mark Richt. They have spent a ton of money on facilities, salaries, recruits,etc.  To get your ass handed to you with one of the greatest purported talent levels is shocking. Moreover, amplified again by questionable decision making. Something critical is definitely lacking....he is not the answer.

Im disappointed but still a Kirby fan, UGA only had to do 2 things. Double team #1 and #8. That is all and our million dollar defensive cord. couldnt do it

Nice guy but another recruiter who can't coach. He has the top recruiting class twice in the last 5 years and can't close the deal. They will run him out of town for this. Which is really sad.

Disagree, all he has to do is beat Michigan and Probably Bama again..  We will see how it settles but UGA is still in playoffs

Delusional. Not beating Mich and Ala. How can you possibly claim he's an elite coach after losing four times in a row?  While Dabo beat him two out of three years with lesser talent. And Malzahn three times in eight yrs. 

KS can't win NC as long as Saban is there. He shit his pants whenever he sees Saban on the opposite field.

I do not have a dog in the fight either way but I have to disagree that Kirby Smart is not the answer.  Sure he has crapped the bed against Alabama multiple times. But who hasn’t ?  Saban  is the best coach in college football history bar none. There is not even a close second place.

Alabama is a freaking well oiled machine and has been for 10 years or so.  Smart will get his national championship ……maybe more than one.  Only question is how soon.  And yes it may be after Saban is gone.

Smart needs to go....he is a fraud and so is that Georgia team. How they sucker us year in and year out is beyond me!! I will never bet that team again. I hope Michigan beats them by 50!

 I did. I had Bama yest. As I did three times last yr including the NC.  And I am an UGA grad.  Finance.   Gotta b selective....find the right spots.  Quality not quanity.   Michigan beat a pretty good OSU and Iowa(less so)quite soundly.  Appears Smart has a propensity to choke in big games...and go ultra conservative, playing not to lose. 

if he loses to Michigan too that might be the saddest way iv'e ever seen a 12-0 team fizzle out.. they would want his head on a stick if he doesn't even MAKE the NC game with this roster. 

You guys are all on crack.  WTF is wrong with you.   Kirby may not be able to beat Nick, but he is a top 5 in the nation head coach.  Georgia is in the CFP, and if they can beat Michigan, Georgia will play a lot better in round 2…and perhaps win the NC.  He was not hired only to try to beat Nick.  and BTW, I had Georgia -6.5 against Bama…Take the emotion and the bitterness out of the equation and cap objectively…Kirby will be the HC for the next decade or more at UGA, whether or not he ever beats Nick, on the merits…

 The context??  I will cut to the chase for you...where in the hell are you getting that Dr. Pepper is a top 5 coach?  Top 5 coaches actually win big games. Smart consistently gets outcoached in big games like yesterday! What excuses do you wanna make about that gameplan yesterday?? The adjustments?? tOh well maybe the game didn't matter to UGA??
