The only team out there that took care of business the best that they could, was OSU, they lost to a team in Illinois that will likely be in the Rose Bowl, and only 1 loss, and they had some tough road games in which they dominated. They gave up 13 PPG in conf play, when the teams that they played averaged 30 PPG in their conf games. That is some unbelievable domination.

Fortunately, no season in any sport is about who is the best at the moment of the end of the season. What you did for the whole season is important. Otherwise, a (pardon the wrong sport) 9-1 hot KC Royals team would supplant the Red Sox from the playoffs. Now, on to teams that played well all season.......

Oregon played so bad without their QB, you can't say that he would've helped them win those games. Shows you that team just wasn't strong all around. And WVU shit the bed tonight, didn't do shit when the QB was in  the game, he came back in and fucked up but that was an overrated team in a very weak conference.

Georgia couldn't even win their division in the SEC. I don't think the voters are going to put them in a Championship Bowl.

college football is a farce with no playoff.its just a popularity contest now,whichever 2 teams the network tells them will get the best ratings will play

Nobody in the Top 10 has played more bowl eligible teams or opponents with a higher winning percentage than Ohio State.

i am absolutely stunned reading this crap...didn't anyone watch Oklahoma last night?  LSU?  USC?  Oklahoma played the number 1 team in the nation and dominated them....again.....LSU and USC looked average, at best, and USC looked the worst out of the whole bunch.  The fact is, Ohio State is in no matter what we all think, but how can anyone say that Oklahoma isn;t the best "other" team in football.......If you guys think that Georgia should go "just because"  then why not Kansas as a one loss team, or Hawaii as the only undefeated?  To get any other team in but Oklahoma, you have to convince yourself and other to do so....OSU and Oklahoma.....that has to be the national championship game.....it probably wont be...but it should....let georgia go to the rose bowl or lsu and play usc...you guys all think that so great..watch that boring ass game....no thanks
