Owen tends to put his 2nd string punter in to QB… when things initially go poorly….    His words not mine….The old tried n true coaching method.    I did think it was odd that OSU COACH ….DIDNT  call his final timeout with Texas on the 2-3 ish yard line… and 1:24  ish on the clock.. and let them score…. Dion S team went down with 140 ish left week earlier… no timeouts… scored a td…    I know there is a lot going on in those moments… but since a field goal wins it….   My 2 cents….ill be looking for coach owen soon possibly……to pop up on the screen… he’ll know what to do.

Texas looked sloppy.  OSU had a bad 4th quarter.  

Neither team was great.

 Yep… completely put my foot in my mouth .. Hell if a comeback by Texas .. very rare occasion when Ohio state allows that to happen.. nice win

 Yes incredible comeback.. manning did throw some great passes that were dropped .. however .. still don’t see him being good in NFL… 1 comeback win vs number 1 team in nation doesn’t erase a lot of bad games he has produced .. epic comeback though !

I wouldn't get caught up in the ranking hoopla until it matters after Week 9 roughly .... that said, perception does matter on early position and how far some teams can slide

1. Georgia (2-0) 29.3

On neutral field, Buckeyes and Georgia evenly rated with Irish right behind....

-next 3 including Texas are about 3.5-4 pts behind

 There is a guy named Cignetti… that would disagree with your rankings…   should be interesting… gotta be lucky really to get to final 4… which is 3 months away.  

Not my rankings, it's ESPN+ which goes into depth in every unit and rates the team on their their season upside based on the whole unit strenght and the players's in it athletic upside and changes every week based on performance in each position/unit

And you know what, they tend to get it right and I know a capper in these forums who has a point system for one conference he knows extremely well on strenghts and weaknesses and when you see his ratings, you find it hard to believe but by the end of the season, he is almost always RIGHT regardless of any ranking....its an art to predict how teams work and perform on their schedule but remember....you could be a GREAT team like Notre Dame last year and Florida St the year before and in the top 10 all season but 

3 strikes (losses) and you are out!

I have to remember that with Oregon....as they coughed one up like ND two years ago with N.Illinois, Irish still made the final !
