This is a good spot for the Cowboys IMO. I don't think Texas can maintain the level of intensity from the last two weeks thtat they have shown.
 
I hope this line goes up a bit so Okl State gains more value.
I see this being  in the  Texas 31 Ok state 27     scoring range.
 
Texas has Texas Tech on deck
Ok State play Iowa State next.

They are in the BCS Championship every year.

But, before we start one of those "which conference is better" pissing contests, you are right . The Big 12 has had better QB play than any other conference for the last couple of years.

Texas -9???OSU is the best team they've faced this year, and they are 2 diminsional. Zac Robinson & Dez Bryant are studs. Upset is coming, Ok state + 13 and a chunk on the moneyline!!

All the chat aside... TEXAS is the real deal... -12.5 points is good value... I think Longhorns are in the championship game... I have been on OSU bandwagon for a couple of seasons, incl @mizzou and last week vs Baylor .. This game is about matchups; and Texas covers in every area and with depth... anything under 14 is a righteous play IMHO

I do not see how Texas would look past OK State when they are like #7 and in the conference. Some people said last week would be a let down for them as well. Not every team follows these psychological trends and Texas seems extremely focused this year. Who is going to have the bad, let down game? Colt? Yeah right. That D? Doubt it.

Ok. state has a more balanced offense and their two top backs are better than Ou's. OSU defense has improved immensley as the season has gone on....

wrong!  Ok St is the best team they've played... OSU will beat OU when they play, and this line shouldn't be more than 7... not to mention it's a crappy spot for Texas, coming off of two huge emotional wins, and being the first #1 team in the BCS polls...

always bet against the public over-reaction to the #1 ranking, especially with a deadly live dog like OSU... still the most under the radar team in CFB (somehow!?!?)... don't see Texas being the #1 team when the rankings come out next week...

Is everyone forgetting that this OK State team won the MU game by the thinnest of margins? That it took huge errors by Daniel that McCoy will not make to seal the deal? And this is definitively the best team they will face?

It's funny to watch everyone all over Texas all of a sudden.  Riding Texas was smart up till now.  Oh how things change from last week when the majority bet Mizzou +4.  Texas was 'due for a letdown' then but all of a sudden not now against a team that's just as strong as mizzou?

14 points is a lot to be giving the Oklahoma State team. 

As a lifelong Texas fan and Alum, if I bet Texas games, I would be taking Oklahoma State.

If Texas plays the perfect game they played last week, they cover +7.  If not, OSU can cover this.  They win SU 1 times out of 5 IMO.

All I'm saying is right now, with the schedule we have in front of us, isn't any time to gloat!  Sure, we've beaten two really good teams, but we're not playing Hofstra or Wm and Mary the next couple of weeks!  We're playing 3 VERY good offensive teams!  The Big 12 is no joke this year, and ANYTHING can happen!  I believe that this team is the most disciplined, well coached and sound judgement team we've ever seen at Texas!  Just enjoy!

Backdoor cover is ALWAYS a possibility against Texas because they don't run up games.  I have been at Texas games where they shut everything down 3 minutes into the 3rd quarter and NOTHING happens the rest of the game.  Opponents will sneak in 7 in the third.  Texas might score and inevitable touchdown on a busted coverage.  Opponent scores 7-10 in the 4th due to field position and one more in garbage time.  Many a big spread has backdoor covered that way in Austin.

If Texas goes up big before the 4th, a backdoor cover is almost assured.  Especially if the line goes over 14.

I think I'd feel much more comfortable grouping this with a few other bets and teasing the line down to under a TD. Haven't seen enough of OKST to do otherwise.
