Kirby is shitting his pants if Hooker can get time ....has 2 options to open up middle of the field and some good backfield catchers as well/TE

 

You watch, one of Hyatt or Tillman will draw middle of field posts and one will be sideline and crossing speed passes with RBs and TE soaking up lots of field on short passes

 Ga. - 3 would be my estimate. 

Why the hell is UGA favored by 8.5? UGA was number 1 but dropped to number 3 cuz they werent dominating teams yet they are favored by 8.5 for this game against the new number 1 team? This line makes no sense to the point i am betting on UGA -8.5 cuz the public should be all over Tenn +8.5... I can even see UGA blowing them out to kill every teaser bet as well

Not sure why Georgia is being doubted at this point. Besides a close game with Missouri who has proven to be a decent team Georgia has handled business well. The drop off on defense was to be expected but have performed well.

Hmmm.........all the love for the Vols. I see a Georgia defense that is still second in the nation in points allowed. I see a Bulldog team that dominates the time of possession at 35-36 minutes a game. At home. Favored over a team ranked ahead of them. Is Vegas throwing a head fake? I see two opposite styles of play and I think Georgia being at home will make all the difference. The Bulldog corners can cover way better than Bama or LSU. I am not sold on the Vol defense. Their offense is so explosive and they usually jump out of the gate and I don't see that happening here. I see the Vols getting a few explosive plays but I also see them getting wore down throughout the game and I can see Hooker making a couple mistakes and before you know it........Georgia wins 38-27 with the Vols attempting to back door the spread at the end of the game but I've been wrong before!!

Plenty of player loss from Georgia's Champ team, especially on defense...not so with Vols

I think if the Vols win, they win big. Georgia is not made to comeback or trade scores with them. However, my money is on Georgia. 

true but they are giving up only 10 more yds per game, thing also is tenn cant stop uga offense. this is a perfect spot for uga, they have been usurped as the number 1 team in the nation by a team that hasnt proved it by beating them, they have been replaced as the number 1 team in the nation and havent lost a game, they are at home, against a team they have owned(10-2 last 12, 5-0 last 5 avg margin of victory 28.6 pts). tenn had a good running game last yr too, they avg 217 yds on the ground last year but only managed 55 yds on 36 carries, 1.5 yds a carry against uga, the year before that 27 carries and -1 yds. they avg. 200 on the ground this year and dawgs will shut that shit down again. back to uga offense they avg 90 more yds than last year 70 more thru the air, a place where tenn. is giving up 50 more yds than last year. I dont trust the fake SOS I see around its obvious tenn has played a much harder schedule and that is what could make the difference, tenn's stellar numbers are against much tougher opposition and could be the missing link that will spell a cover and possibly a win for them.

Easiest bet on the bored is Brock Bowers over 58.5 yards receiving who knows who covers this game but I can assure you this TE gets his yards he might be the best TE in the country and the Vols are garbage vs the pass and tight ends.

 Agree, from the 4th row end zone seat vs Florida last week we had helluva view of Bowers soft hands and powerful run after catch. Dawgs will need him in this one because I feel both game plans will be stop the run first. IMO Dawgs secondary will win or lose this game. Can the Dawgs run the ball on offense, control some clock, and on D can they get Hooker off the field w no pts. Georgia (soft schedule) has given up 7 tds (Tenn 20 or 21) I think Hooker and that NFL grade offense will get 4 tds with eyes closed, Can we keep Hendon under 35?

couple obvious adders:

smart had bye week before Florida, they spent first week conditioning and drills Florida prep, week before Florida all prep on Tennesse game plan. 

Georgia this year has been tougher to figure out, you would think out of the gate lost 15 players to nfl that they would be slow to get started. Oregon vs GA was a well coached, play called executed game for Georgia. They played all 60 minutes no missed tackles. No complacency. Bennett could not miss, run throw catch get everybody involved and d stuffed them. 
since that game there have been quarters/half of complete execution but not 4 quarters. SOS does play into this and nobody develops players better than Smart with rotating 1s2s but there is no reason the team that played Oregon was in trouble with Kent St. Missouri until the end, 3rd quarter in TiAA bank field. I am not going to compare dawgs to last year cuz it means nothing, different players different team, all I will say is they get complacent at times. And they won’t have fooking time in this game with 80 play Heisman Hendon Hooker and the NFL wideouts Hyatt Cedric. 

Georgia has won last 26 of 27 games.

At Home between the hedges in November #1 vs #3, ESPN Gameday with guest analyst Wahoo, this matchup is our first playoff game and critical for dawgs playoff chances, in their eyes they are the under Dawg 

Prediction: Dawgs just enough D to stop several drives, and I think offense with Mitchell back TE and Kenny McIntosh out of the back field torch them for 42

Dawg fan here, injury to Nolan Smith, leading pass rusher, should not be overlooked.  No pressure on Hooker gives time and puts a ton of pressure on secondary.  Unclear how the Dawgs make up for the loss of this likely first round draft pick.

But as a dogs fan I dug deeper and think ga offense shuts down tenn offense. Time of possession and managing drives is Stetsons purpose in football life. Tennessee is legit, but in that Alabama game, the Tide had 17 penalties, their backend D isn’t a strong suit, awesome atmosphere for the home team… lots of things went in the Vols favor… they definitely earned that win snd not trying to down play it… but I don’t think Georgia helps them out the way Bama did. 

Interesting stat Georgia is last I the SEC in sacks . Teams always throwing from behind makes you think

If you look in the dictionary and find Trendy Road Dog a BIG Orange T would be in the definition.  I don't think Alabama is that good AM outplayed them and were a superior team. UT has played no one besides a subpar Alabama in Knoxville which they were extremely lucky to win mostly do to Alabama having subpar Wrs and Rbs and the worst Alabama defense in a decade. 82% of the tickets and 74% of the handle on Tennessee yet number opened at 9.5 and now sits at 9 no key numbers 7 or 10 in play. Vols defense will knock around Hooker and shutdown the Vols deep passing and running game. Lots of 3 and outs as Bulldogs use the best TE in American Football NCAA or NFL and grind down Tennessee then Bennett makes some plays with his legs and outside the pocket downfield vs a porous UT pass and really run defense to win by DD even if UT scores a worthless TD very late. UT needed OT at Pitt and Florida looked like the fun and gun offense vs UT D @ UT. Both TCU and UT exit the playoffs talk this Saturday.  Did we all forget the azz beating Oregon took between the hedges

I think since the line is 8.5 most people say or think Tenn is going to get creamed.  I actually say don’t over think it.  It will be 75 degrees today so no weather issues.  GA has to be up big in this game to prevent a back door cover.  I also think Kirby is a shitty coach, has ok coaches around him but Josh H will put him to the test.  It all comes down to Hooker.  Will he turn it over??.  GA had problems with Kent State.  So who knows.  My prediction GA 33-28.
