Do you guys think this line is a little high? I thinbk it shoud be 20 or so. Syracuse did not play that bad against Minnesota last week. I watched the Penn State game vs Akron and they did not look that impressive. While PSU is much better I think 28 1/2 is way too much. Small play on the cuse.

I think they can put up 14-17pts if they play smart and just accept the fact that their wont be a lot of scoring. Their defense looked surprisingly good last week....and Penn St will be running the ball a lot this season with no receivers...and that alone will allow teams to cover large spreads against them.
I have them in a Teaser @ +35.5 & straight at +28.5

was really suprised when this line came out. i also thought it would be around the 20ish range. already have 5 plays but this is definately one i would also do. or do a 3teamer with cuse +38.5!

'Cuse had no business losing that game at home last week against MN. Complete meltdown by the QB floating the INT in the endzone; wouldn't surprise me if that play haunts 'em. 'Cuse away from home is a vastly inferior team than what they look like at home. ST ought to go up 21-0 easy first half in my book, and lock a 44-3 W.

'Cuse did cover last week ATS and St did not. Since teams basically go 6-6 ATS, look for that to even out.
PN ST can be considered the 5th best college football team.

Last year was exactly that, last year...2 completely different teams this year. Lions have no receiving corp and will rely heavily on Royster all year long. 4 TD's is a lot to be giving to any team, especially when you just proved you'll sit on a lead against a weaker opponent. This opponent however is slightly better than Akron.

I don't see 'Cuse scoring in this one. ST may have failed to cover last week against no name Akron, however against a big name like Syracuse they'll roll. Lord knows what happened last year is mute, as is what happened last week. Lay the chalk.

vegas always putting out these psychological lines on bettors. Make the line high like last week while the sting from taking penn is still fresh on the mind. Plus Syracuse is better than akron so why not take the points?
