To reiterate, I'm on USF plus anything over 14 and I have it at 15.5. Not a lean, a pick. A recommended one in fact which is something I do a couple times a week. I'm 2-2 on my recommended picks and 7-3 total on the year to date. Anyway, you can read my other posts for detailed reasoning if you're so inclined, but basically, I think UF is overrated, have thought so since pre-season, so I circled this game when the schedules were finalized b/c I believe Holtz can do wonders for USF, and what's more, The Gators have replaced a ton of production with the promise of promise. What I saw last Saturday, from both teams, vindicated my initial inkling and reenforced my analysis based on the information available.
I know it's hard to believe even though we just watched it, but UF is closer to being average than they are to being great. For now at least. Maybe they take a leap later this year, maybe not for two years, but right now they're still finding their feet. And they have an opponent coming to town with nothing to lose, nothing to fear, and nothing to hold back. USF +15.5

Expect a much improved performance against the Bulls and I will lean to the always profitable angle of UF at the half and IF this game were to go under 2 tds, I may risk another third of my bankroll to try to get back to something close to even on the year.

As a Gator fan I think the offensive coordinator is terrible and is causing UFs woes.....his play calling all last season was horrible and I thought Urban would get it corrected. However, I took UF at -16 in this spot because of all the press and how pissed Urban looked during and after the game. I also think they were perhaps holding something back for conference play? Maybe they will open it up a bit for this game. The next time Brantley hits Thompson on a long bomb he better catch the damn thing.

This is a great spot for the Gators, like mentioned several times before, you screw up in a game with Meyer as your coach you won't do it again. I have a good friend on the coaching staff and he basically said Meyer told Pouncey, one and your done, since Pouncey has been solid in practice. That being said the game plan for the Gators is going to change quite a bit, This will be a statement game for the Gators as I expect an easy 20+pt cover. The defense will come to play again and limit USF to under 17pts... Take the Gators -15 now as the line will creep back up come gametime....
