South Florida vs Florida Gators...OPINIONS

This game jump out to me the most ... I know Florida played a shitty game but I feel like Meyer ripped them this week in pratice and they are gonna come out with a chip on there shoulders.  anybody else feel the same way

The line is moving in Florida's favor right now. People are thinking USF can play with them apparently 

it is hard to bet against Florida with such a short line, how will USF score on a consistent basis?

USF was giving up pts evenly to Stony Brook in the First half last week.

 

Theres an apartment complex 20 minutes from me called Stony Brook, LoL!

On a more serious note, the Gators should handle South Florida with ease. The coaching staff will have the offensive line working overtime preparing for this game. I might add Florida to my plays.

Just staying away from this game

I'm with DU4L, after last weekm this game became untouchable. I know Pouncey vowed to correct the snapping issues but that's only a weeks worth of practice. The only thing the Gators have going for them is that they are getting 2 or 3 starters back for their o-line. I don't understand how Demps was so ineffective too. Brantley needs to stop checking down so often as well. I know his receivers were not coming up with the deep ball catches but he still needs to keep the defense honest and threaten them with a deep ball if they cheat up close.

This game in all honesty has blowout written all over it. We have never played USF before and they have been saying they can beat and play with us for years, and with what happened last week and people doubting the Gators. Its just bad timing for USF to be playing the Gators. 

Something that jumped out at me with USF.  They gave up a quick 14 points to Stony Brook and in the Leavitt era guys would've been screaming at each other.  Instead, they calmly went about their business and didn't give up any more points.  Holtz has already made an impact. 

UF looked like shit last week + lookahead game to Tennessee + 95% of USF's roster is guys that got looked over by UF in high school and will play with a chip on their shoulders. THAT is what the public will see, along with a relatively recognizable name in USF as a big dog. I don't know if I will have the balls to play on Florida until I see them get it together for at least a game, but I definitely think UF should cover in this one. Urban Meyer and his staff will put a serious premium on the team putting together a good performance before SEC play starts next week, not to mention he won't stand for two consecutive shitfests at the swamp. I'm just tentative to play Florida, because everything I just said above is about the coach and not the actual players on the field, we don't really know how good Florida can be yet.

Also playing at UM and FSU is no comparison (venue and team wise) to what they will face this weekend.

  Florida looked sloppy, like many others this past weekend, but no need for people to panic. People basing their decision on how good they are by their performance against Miami Ohio will surely be costly.

I took the Gators at -15, at that number it is a great teaser game as well, get it down to -9 and bring Tennessee up to +20 at home.

I'm not being a (cliche warning) prisoner of the moment.  I know UF isn't nearly as bad as they looked against a very bad team, but I had my doubts about the Gators in the pre-season.  They returned a ton of potential, but I can't remember the last time potential trumped production.  How much production did they lose?  

Anybody notice how little Florida threw the ball? I thought their new QB Brantley was supposed to be amazing. I watched most of that game and was unimpressed with the play calling and the apparent lack of throws down the field to open up the defense.

I am on USF. Florida is not as good as last year.
