just kidding.  They are clearly the best conference.  As a Big 12 fan though I try to rile up the SEC fans every now and then.

For all you SEC haters, regardless of top tier, middle tier, or bottom tier teams in the SEC, oppose to other conferences. The bottom line is, for the 5th year in a row, an SEC team has won the BCS Championship. Name me another conference that has a tougher week to week schedule than the SEC. Also, by the way, the BCS was started in 1998, Tenn won in 1998, LSU won in 2003, that's a total of 7 BCS Championships. It's all about winning, and until another conference win a championship, shut the fuck up.

Look at Florida's brutal October

- Alabama
- @ LSU
- @ Auburn
- IDLE
- UGA (Jacksonville)

I don't know if another team in the country has a tougher month then the Gators October schedule. UGA and SC don't even have to play Bama or LSU and UF draws Bama and LSU in back to back weeks!

People just like hating on the SEC because they're top dog right now. It's the Michael Jordan effect. Think of all the people who hated him during his run. Same deal with SEC football.

Boom - I know the conference is fairly top heavy but look at the rotating National Champions. It's not like the conference is riding the coattails of a dynasty. Plus the SEC has won more National Championships then all the other conferences COMBINED. Sure the SEC is a bit top heavy but that top part seems to be better then all the other conferences top teams.

People aren't hating the SEC,  They are hating all the bragging about what a great conference it is like we don't know that already.

Being a NY Yankee fan I do brag about the Red Sox World Series or Jaun Bautista being the best hitter.

We get it last 5 titles went to the SEC.

Thats what high preseason rankings gets you. That and no playoff system.

I do think this there is some truth to this statement.  Preseason rankings are ridiculous.

I'm going to disagree here, Auburn was ranked 22nd going into the season last year, not exactly high. Plus nowadays, it's set up where the first 3 to 4 weeks voters will make massive changes where they see fit. If you go undefeated in a BCS conference, you will get recognized and given a shot at the title unless 2 other teams go undefeated, but that's a very rare circumstance.
