The SEC is on a "Power Surge" never before seen in the modern era. They have analysed the football landscape and are using their resources to be the major player for years to come utilizing a14 team dominance--which guarantees national finalists.
Case in point:
1) Texas A & M
-----a major football program
2) Missouri
-----another competitive football power
Absorbing these two schools also serves to weaken their Big 12 neighbors considerably.

1) FOOTBALL pays the bills. Football pays all other sports programs. A University's image is controlled by the image of their football program (Ask Penn State U). The SEC will be able to boast consecutive championships; take new recruits to state of the art facilities; establish firm relationships w/ ESPN.
2) It continues this year as another champion emerges from the SEC.
3) The BCS helps maintain a control over any "anomolies" like Boise St or any other program built up by a skilled coach. Power tries to consume any and all threats.

I havent read many of these posts but...
arguing that Atlanta is in GA making it a home game means little to nothing in this game. please see boise st. At least a 1/3 to 1/2 of the fans will be lsu fans.
When hasn't Lsu proven itself in big games this year, or not covered in those big games for the matter.
Dogs are hot but they have not played anyone since SC in week 2. They barely beat FLA is is awful and couldnt cover vs Vandy.
I would love to see the dogs win but that aint going to happen. I can and will bet against them because I like money.

So ladies and gents, I say half-jokingly tohat one of the safest bets is the LSU ML, since there is a calculated risk they WON'T play in the NC, and Stanford or Okie St would sneak in there.
The SEC is happy, since Alabama doesn't have to play a game and is a cinch to play in it; while LSU plays and runs a risk. How fucked up is that BCS Committee?
The SEC has been playing fiddle with the BCS to help establish its dominance and set the table for along, long reign at the top.
The BCS Rules Committee President is a Southenor--Bill Hancoock.
The loudest talking head on ESPN is Lee Corso--a Southerner.
The backdoor shananigans that go on are manipulated to help serve the interests of the powerful FB conference--the SEC. And why should they allow for parity? WHY?
"WARS ARE CAUSED BY UINDEFENDED WEALTH"
Who said that first?
The SEC is defending its wealth. And it is doing a damn good job of it.
Who was behind the heavy sanctioning of the USC program? Why is it that in the middle of the season allegations come out of pay for play, and the NCAA brings back a VERDICT within a few days to clear Cam Newton for the game vs Alabama, then the NC. Yet, for the same economic hardship case of under the table funding of empoverished athletes at USC, we have a Championship removed from a team (2006) and next year the DEVASTATING loss of ten scholarships...and so on? Who wants to see USC dismantled and weakend, in disarray? The SEC? Is THAT in THEIR interests? You bet. Cam Newton---> ok, "we see no indication of foul play." (Thanks for another championship.) Reggie Bush?----> Death to USC, even years later.
--->Give the players a subsistence wage, and admit they are paid athletes. Ridiculous to have these severe indictments for basically providing transportation and other basic security needs. Don't you want to keep greedy and seedy sports agents away from campuses?

Check out he avg salary of a tenured professor at lsu--$75,000-250,000.
What is Les Miles salary? 4 million dollars

Bet the entire national debt of trillions of dollars on the LSU Moneyline.
Let's bet this with the Chinese, since we owe most of it to them, and they're the only ones left with money--thanks to our irresponsible politicians.
At least we can pay a fraction of the interest on it.
LSU MONEYLINE
Not to the Bank--the banks will be irresponsible gambling with it, and then taxpayers will have to bail them out again--gets messy.
The SEC has worked this hard, you think they will allow for Stanford or Okie St at this point?![]()
They were raising champagne glasses when their enemy USC beat Oregon; when Boise St couldn't run the clock out, fumbled it away instead; when Oklahoma had a sleepy 1st H; when Stanford was caught by the Ducks; when Okie St got caught in the 4th qtr.![]()
So where are you going to put your money?
We are all fools for believing these games are honestly played out for our entertainment.
Where will it come from? 3 holding penalties on Detroit Lions 1st 3 possesions to keep them off the board--the refs?
Oh, don't you dare criticize the refs.
Lane Kiffin criticised the refs after the Stanford game, and paid out $10,000, and was reprimanded for it. Yeah, all he did was tell the line judge he was going to call a timeout, and to look for him. Pass complete---time ticking away. FG try before OT to try win it? NO.The ref NEVER looks at him. Time runs out. Why did the ref do this?
WIll Georgia's key defensive or offensive players get a signal from somewhere to begin the fall? An opening and closing umbrella, perhaps?
What quarter will Georgia begin to take the dive?
In what quarter will Georgia will fumble/be intercepted/miss a tackle/allow a special teams TD?
1st QUARTER; +300
2nd QUARTER: +150
3rd QUARTER: EVEN
4th QUARTER: -550

"Wars are caused by undefended wealth"
---Gen D. MacArthur
I only point this out because the average idiot doesn't see that this is all about the almighty dollar, for amassing wealth and using the popularity of football to bankroll it--in the South.
Corruption goes on because what else do you do with power except enjoy it, and because there is little oversight to stop it.
LSU MONEYLINE---STUFF IT IN YOUR MATTRESSES !!!!!!!!!!!

This post is out there. Not all my fault. I don't want to be impressed by LSU so that nothing is possible. I am asking for Georgia to show up and play for themselves, play for pride, play for their own program.
I've learned long ago to smell out when the table is set for a desireable result that favors power, and to back off and just watch it when it's there.
Power gets what it wants. Usually they live to regret what they get, but it gets maniacal and fanatical when they're going after it (football dominance).
LSU ML
Georgia +14.5
Look elsewhere people for advice on this game.

and now, there are people on this forum who think that Georgia is now going to beat LSU... really?
blow... out! you will not win your bet on Georgia, i am telling you that right now... i usually wouldn't do this, but you need to cancel that bet in whatever manner possible... Georgia will not come close to covering the spread, no matter how much higher the line gets...
this is a 30 point game...
I AM NOT BETTING THE GAME.
