Coach O and Kiffin.
Kiffin's just a great salesman.
Props to UCLA's class. VERY impressed.
UF's class is downright scary. Ronald Powell is an absolute monster.

People will soon see what Pete had at USC. Sark, Kiff and O are top recruiters, and he had all of that on one team.
This is why us Trojans love the Kiffin hire. I dont care if he cant coach. Coachings overrated in college. You're only as good as the assistants you have.
Barkley's going to have a field day in 2011.

Seantrel and his father said they liked the stability of the Ohio State coaching staff but not the university’s large class sizes. During Coach Jim Tressel’s home visit last month, he told Seantrel in great detail what his first year would be like for the Buckeyes.
Henderson’s father described the talk as “pretty long-winded.” Afterward, Tressel mentioned to the Hendersons that he was always told he talked a lot.
“He’s so informative and so to the point and so much about business, that it was a little boring,” Sean Henderson said.

Why wait for 2011? Whats wrong with 2010?
USC should win their first 5 games without much trouble. Then they face Stanford, Cal and Oregon. By that time, they should be on a roll and playing well. With better play calling, you can expect better results than last year.
I am not all that upset that Pete (and Bates) left. Last year was awful. The play calling was terrible. That's the coaches fault.
USC passed 47% of the time. We should have run more often and not expect a true freshman to do so much. Barkley should have thrown to Havili more often. He spends too much time looking downfield for the big pass. If Kiffin changes these things, you can expect a much more dangerous offense.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda. I can't wait to see what this new coaching staff will do.
By the way, UCLA did a good job recruiting. The trouble is, they failed to get a great QB. They are years away from being a real force because of that. They haven't had a great QB for over 10 years.

I'll re-phrase. The HEAD coaching position is overrated. Surround yourself with a great staff, and you'll be ok. All I ever hear from people on this site is Pete Carroll sucks as a coach.
But why was he so successful? Because he had a great group of assistants.

I saw this guy play 2 times this year....including the title game. He is an absolute BEAST.
He will be a top 10 pick when he decides to leave for the NFL. Guaranteed.
