You Buckeye fans live in fantasy land. Besides Meyer had an out in his contract for Notre Dame. And that jobs history for now.

Everything is set up perfectly now. After Tressel wins the next 2 national tiles and Pryor wins 2 Heisman's for  the 2nd time ever ,Tressel can step down and ride off into the sunset w/ 3 NC's, 8 straight wins over Mich, 11 solid years. The guy will never have  to buy a drink in Ohio ever  again. Then Meyere can get his dream job, after taking a few years off and getting his health in order.

Thought this was kind of funny...didn't realize I posted this on here until i was bored and decided to look at my old posts :)  Doesn't look so stupid now does it? ;)

It's all but a done deal already...he will be the Buckeyes coach next year according to a couple people I know close to the situation.

Lol...coming from a Michigan fan I can respect the "fuck the bucks" ;)

I almost don't want to post this because I'm sure I know how it will be received....

A good friend of mine -- very trustworthy guy -- played golf last week with a member of the board of trustees at Ohio State.  The trustee basically told my friend that Meyer would be named Buckeyes head coach in about two weeks.   Their round of golf was last weekend, so expect an announcement in 7-10 days.

I don't know the exact time table...but your friend is very well informed.

Michigan will have a good chance IF Denard doesn't start...They are a better football team without him behind center.  But who knows which Buckeye team will show up...the one vs Wisconsin and the 1st half vs Nebraska...or the other one vs Purdue and others...

Should be exciting though like always.

I highly doubt he cares what I think about him. But I was 100% wrong about him. I listened to my Michigan buddies too much about how they wanted to sit him after he was benched and had some tough games, and I had only really paid attention to a few games of him myself.  

From watching the Buckeye game...if Michigan had any type of defense, they would be a top 5 team...solely because of Denard and how much of an offensive weapon he is. He is an absolute beast as a college QB.

See how easy it is for someone to admit they were wrong? I have no problem with it at all. As a college QB he is a stud and the Buckeyes were absolutely helpless vs him.

Good luck to him in the bowl game...hope they make the Big10 proud! We'll have our shot again next year with Urban at the helm!

I agree, he made all the difference in the game.  What Michigan fans fail to realize is; Drob was going through an entire new offensive philosophy, which the O-cord (Al Borges) said all season was going to "take time".  As the year progressed, he was right.  I mean, the guy has been coachin his offense for 20+ years, so I'm going to side with him...

I would agree 100% he isn't be best throwing QB in the game, but what he lacks sometimes in the passing game, he makes up for it with his feet... and combined, the guy is lethal.

Urban will get the offense going with Miller, and when Miller/Robinson face off for round 2, it should be fun to watch!!

I know Meyer is the real deal...and even though I don't really like him (because I'm not supposed to) I think Hoke is the right guy for Michigan.

the rivalry became a joke under DickRod...

Hope this was the 1st year of many for some exciting games...now that just need to be a little more meaningful!
