    In no Order

Mallet      Hoping he Finds his way to the BUFFALO BILLS

    Ingram    Back to back ???

    Keenum

Landry Jones.... Don't Laugh they could go 12-0 and he might throw for 40+ TD's ... If you gave me 40-1 or better right now I would throw down atleast $50

K Moore .... not sure he can do better than the 39TD's and only 3 Ints from LY

K Moore is good, but he just doesnt show me flashes of greatness.  He is just a good game manager.  Atleast Keenum can make a play w/ his feet if need be.

SHOCKING you like this kid. Do you really think he's going to be good? I saw him play 2-3 times in high school, and I thought he was hot garbage. Actually shocked when he went to ND. Everything about him is mechanical and slow, IMO. I love his height, but thats about it. Very interested in watching him this season.

I think he will be good yeah.  He's got great size, I actually watched him in high school one time.  Just on tv of course.  Didn't honestly impress me too much but that's high school but he made a throw ironically in the game he got hurt that really impressed me.  Best pass I saw all season was on a rope and absolutely beautiful.  If Brian Kelly can make Tony Pike a success than surely he can make one of the best QB's of the recruiting class a success.  Agree?

I think that's a good comparison.. Pike was tall, good arm- think Kelly can mold him into a Pike-like QB.. will probably put up gaudy numbers, but not sure if he'll enter Hesiman race unless ND goes 11-1..

Might be labeled "system-qb" much like Pike, Keenum, Potts, etc. are...

I think that's a good comparison.. Pike was tall, good arm- think Kelly can mold him into a Pike-like QB.. will probably put up gaudy numbers, but not sure if he'll enter Hesiman race unless ND goes 11-1..

Might be labeled "system-qb" much like Pike, Keenum, Potts, etc. are...

Coming out of high school he was labeled a pro style qb.  The thing about Crist and these QB's seems to be changing that it doesn't matter what system he came from.  Especially after sitting 2 years in a pro style offense.  I think Crist will be fine.  Hes a little bigger than Pike not taller but bigger.

I honestly don't think he will be in the race unless of course they do go 11-1 which I don't see.  I just said Crist because I'm a homer and I knew it would get a rise out of people.

    Mugg,

I value your opinions very much and agree with your outlook 90% of the time.  But my Gabbert pick has to be graded from "no chance" to longshot.

I have not sought to defend Gabbet but the more I look at QB rankings, the more I would think he could have a break out year.

He needs to improve, especially versus huskers and horns, but as a Soph getting 3600 yds 24 TD vs 9 int at 60% cmpl rate  140.5 QB rating to boot.  Thats only 2000 yrds and 20 tds behind Keenum.

Sorry you are right, no chance, but not bad numbers for a soph.

Exactly, and not as a pure passer most had him in the top 3 as a pure passer.  Rivals only had Blaine Gabbert ranked ahead of him as a pro style passer.  Luck was ranked below.  Notre Dame's best recruiting class was that 2008 class in my opinion.  Kyle Rudolph, Michael Floyd, Dayne Crist, Jamoris Slaughter - Not a big name yet but will be this season, Anthony McDonald, Kapron Lewis Moore.  The list goes on just some of my personal favorites.  I almost forgot Darius Fleming I'm really anxious to see him rushing off the edge in that 3-4 he could be a force.

    Pryor was in that class
