Last year was not comfortable to compete.  My best thoughts is this is year 2.

Year 2 Belichick had a full season to improve his roster and this is a team that he will face in a rematch.

TCU do they have the potent offense to score 48, im betting against that.  I say TCU scores in the 30's.

Belichick should be able to take away or atleast disrupt TCU offensively.  UNC was not able to keep the ball on offense last year.  I just have a good feeling about a good coached dog in year 2 after basically learning from last year.

Throw in a running type of game and possible weather issues and a game not typical of August weather.
