Pelini out at Nebraska

LOL, a lot of teams with worse records didn't give up 450 yds rushing to Wisconsin..........but I get your point. I watched Baylor put up about 1000 yds on my Huskies in the Alamo Bowl a few years ago........it was embarrassing..........& was the straw that caved in Nick Holt's DC career.

I honestly think with a better coach, they could have been 77-17.....they easily lost a game every year minimum they had no business losing, and they almost never beat a team they "shouldnt beat"....

Bo was a meat head and it showed. When Nebraska could lineup and run their basic stuff and out man the opponent they were fine....face a team that had similar or better athelets and/or coach....game over....

Smart move by Nebraska. Almost anybody coulda coached the mighty nebraska to the record Pelini did, but winning the tough and big games? Thats what ya gotta do to keep your job....

I don't see Nebraska hiring Frost. NU still thinks they are the NU from the 80's and 90's. A "prestigious" program doesn't hire assistants.

Bohl and McElwain won't give up a million to Wisky, and they won't fall behind by 17 to the Hawkeyes. Most likely they wouldn't let McNeese State hang around either.

  Danny Ford would be better.

I also loved Nebraska growing up as they have some of the classiest fans ever.The average Nebraska recruit lives 900 miles from Lincoln.Don't see it getting much better,but hope I'm wrong.

As an Iowa fan living in Omaha, NE I can promise you Nebraska fans are the worst.  Nice people, yes.  But they're horrible sports fans.  They will never, and I repeat, NEVER be in the football playoff.  They need to accept this, take 9-10-11 games and go kiss their sisters.  Osborne was a trendsetter in the 90's.  He was in the right place at the right time.  Be thankful and move on.
