yeah well OSU does have a storied past, but they have consistently been in the Top 5 the last 5 years, and over the last 15 years they have been more consistent than any other team.

LOL what a stupid thread. OSU would not dance through the SEC. The SEC regular season is a gauntlet. BIG 10 regular season is a joke compared to the SEC. Who do you have to worry about in the Big 10?
Michigan? Lloyd Carr generally chokes in the big games, just look at his career. Other than that who else is there in the Big 10? Wisconsin maybe.......

Go ahead Buckeye guy, keep acting like your boys are head and shoulders above everyone else until you take the blinders off and look at the scoreboard that says 41-14 Florida.  OSU is not a better team this year than they were last year. Troy Smith was a damn good QB and you lost Ginn which hurts.

I guess Ohio St fans really are slow, oh well maybe you will learn your lesson early January, doubt it though.....

OSU fans slow?? Everybody including yourself keep repeating the 41-14 bashing we took last year, WE REMEMBER IT.....plus we've heard it 1,000,000 times on this thread, but you keep on bringing back the fact acting like it's a new slam.....you're right, we're the slow ones.

I already said in another thread that out of conference road scheduling is a thing of the past for every conference. But to be fair the Vols did schedule Cal, lost, but never the less that is a "tough road game"

Ohio St's only out of conference roadie was to a 3-6 Washington team, real ballsy.

Ohio St really has not been tested much this season, they played Wisconsin, but I think they have underachieved this season and Ohio St got Wisky at home.  I think the Michigan game will be the best gauge to see where exactly this Ohio St team stands.

OSU would lose to LSU, Florida, Auburn, and Georgia. Anyone that thinks OSU is a great team outside of the BIG(SLOW AND PREDICTABLE) 10 is fooling themselves or blind. The SEC has fake field goals, fake punts and the coaches "go for it" when they  have 4 and short!! I live in Michigan and you all seen what speed does to a good BIG 10 team(APPSTATE, OREGON). If OSU wants tp get respect outside the BIG 10 they need to schedule teams other than Akron and Youngstown State as non-conference games!!! Any team with speed on Defense will crush these BIG 10 teams!!  A 1 loss Florida team crushed OSU and OSU hasn't lost a game in the BIG 10 in 20 games!! NO TEAM including the PATRIOTS could win 20 straight in the SEC!!!

I'm not gonna say OSU would lose 3 games or games or 1 game, but if they played in the SEC, they would not be undefeated. Plain and simple. They aren't good enough...neither is anybody else! It's too hard for a team to be ready to play at that level week in and week out.

Its hard to "DANCE" with crutches on....... Even the lower half of the SEC will hit you hard enough to put one or two of your starters out for one or more games EVERY WEEK....... There are no breathers........   Just enjoy your two team conference and leave those of us who know better alone.

Some guy said that because App St beat Mich they are "faster" .Well App st would probably win one in every 100 times at Mich, and they happened to get really lucky. And Mich vs Org now would likely be a very different game. In the NFL when teams play each other twice they often split the games back and forth, but guys on here, once a team beats someone, they act like that team would always beat the other team. OK, using your logic, LSU lost to an average Kentucky team, so they couldn't beat any average teams.

Wow, we have the insight that the SEC goes for fake punts, and goes for it on 4th down. Well I saw Wisc try a fake punt and it cost them a TD. Any way I still haven't seen anyone explain how the SEC is 3-5 vs the BiG 10 the last 3 years, while they are SO dominant.

Thats exactly right a team of the past, and your dumb ass basically made my argument for me "Check the past 5 years and tell me how many BCS games OSU has been a part of and WON."  Look at you, an Ohio State fan bringing up the past and living off those old glory days.  Ohio State is simply getting too much respect for the team they used to be, Ill give you the National Championship, OSU beat a tough Miami team (some may say by luck (i.e. Mcghee injury)), but several of your other "BCS" victories came against Kansas State (who I think upset someone in the Big 12 Championship) and Notre Dame (who, thanks to being the other school getting to much undeserved respect,  lucked out and made it that far).  The reason why your past BCS argument is bullshit is because the only reason why you guys are there is because you won the Big 10(the most garbage BCS conference and possibly the most undeserving of an automatic bid), and the rest of your schedule consists of participating in the Ohio High School Football season.  Ohio State is the one team in the country who needs to be treating their conference games as "cupcakes" and trying to schedule some out of conference "respect builders" instead of the Akrons, and other Miami's of the world.  So Cherokee10 head back to the reservation and work on bringing a stronger argument to the table before you just call someone out like that.

    Godfather 16,

Oregon went to Ann Arbor and beat Michigan, but according to your "NFL" logic Michigan would travel to Oregon and win.  No way.  I dont know how you can sit there and think that, without acknowledging that your just a disillusioned Big 10 fan.

boon, I am not saying that Mich would beat ORG next time, but they could possibly win, and guys here are like Florida beat OSU last year, and Mich lost, so the Big 10 sucks. But the Big 10 has done well in bowls especially vs the SEC. And somebody said the Big 10 is garbage, well the top teams, OSU MIch, Wisc, PSU, and Purdue, have been very consistent the past 10 years, yeah the bottom teams suck like NW and Minn, but even they have there winning years, but I don;t think that's any different than any other conference, having some weak teams. But I would put the top teams in the Big 10 up with any other conference year in and year out.

    Godfather I hear ya man,

I understand what your saying and see where your coming from.  This will forever be one of those "Chicken or the Egg" arguments where there will be no real answer until there is a SEC/BIG 10 Challenge or at least a playoff system for the BCS.  I might not agree with you on the strength of the Big Ten or Ohio State, but I do respect your taking a stand for your beliefs and are repping your team and their conference.  Good luck to ya buddy and hope you pick nothing but winners from here on out, take it easy buddy.
