Osu will be 6-7 point Faves at Mich. OSU beat Mich last year so according to SEC fans then it would be impossible for Mich to win this year.

Is this really up for debate right now.  I mean Ohio State basically benefits from pretty much the same bullshit as Notre Dame.  There are so many Ohio State fans, for some reason, and because of their teams past (a long long time ago) they are still getting way too much respect from the national media and from those who vote in the polls.  They play a terrible schedule which is not comparable at all with the SEC.  I don't know how anyone with any sort brain in their head could tell you that OSU could go into the SEC and compete much less win games at places like Florida, Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Tennessee.  These are very tough teams with good defenses, great coaches (most would even be considered better Tressel) and atmospheres that are unlike any Ohio State has ever seen (on the road of course w/ maybe 1 or 2 exceptions, more like just one with App St winning in Ann Arbor this year).   When your road games consist of games  at Washington, Purdue, Minnesota and Penn State you cant really make an argument of how any of those could hold a candle to any SEC institution.  Those are crap teams with stadiums that are not even intimidating to anyone (not hating Penn State of Michigan)  I would understand why Vandy, Ole Miss and Miss St would be tougher then Washington, Minnesota and Purdue for obvious reasons.  Basically it comes down to this, we have all seen what happens when the Big Ten leaves their comfort zone of playing and dicking around with each other and plays real teams teams with speed and athletes, such as Oregon, Florida and dare I even say App St.  Insight Im not hating and I do respect your opinion but it is about time for you to let go of big foots hand, hop off that unicorn and join us all in reality, Ohio State is good but will never be great until they strengthen their schedule, and join the modern era (era of speed and athleticism) of college football.  They are making progress and recruiting better but I don't think they are deserving of their ranking this year, I personally could see them loosing to at least five teams ranked below them in the Top 10.

Yet you people still think the SEC is overated? Oregon or OSU would get raped in the SEC.

WOW... Congrats on all of Ohio St.'s individual accomplishments, but just one thing to remember, INDIVIDUAL accomplishments only carry a TEAM so far, see BCS NC game last year.

Dude, come on, you just typed a paragraph taking up for the teams that OSU has beaten.  You'll know when OSU beats a good opponent, because all you will have to say is the team they beat, and the rest is self expanitory. 

Fact is, you beat an over rated #25 Penn St team (come on, say it... "Penn St is over rated and is not a quality win". Now, doesn't that feel better) and you beat a wounded Wisconsin team, but we'll call it a quality win for your arguements sake.

Bottom line, OSU is undefeated with a schedule that posed very little threat to them going undefeated or with maybe a loss to Michigan, so they are taking care of business with what they have.  They cannot change the schedule when they find out that Minnesota is gonna suck, or that Wisconsin is without some of their horses.  They're doing what they have to do to be where they are, so more power to them, but don't think for a second that they can lose a game and still make it to the NC game.  If they do lose, they will probably be back where they belong IMO, as the 6th or 7th best team in the nation...

Shakeitup, you are correct LSU did play somewhat of a  weak out of conference schedule.  Looking past Tulane which is basically an in state rivalry for them, you failed to mention that LSU  played Virginia Tech while OSU was busy playing that Pac 10 juggernaut Washington. Please next time you are gonna mention out of conference games just remember LSU schedules those cupcakes because there are none already scheduled during the conference schedule.  LSU plays those games because the rest of their schedule is Auburn, Florida, Alabama, the rest of the SEC, and most often the best team in the SEC East when the Championship rolls around while Ohio State is busy playing Minnesota, Purdue, Indiana and no conference championship.  Ohio State would struggle to finish .500 in the SEC.
