Riley is a tremendous coach... *check out his game prep....they dominated the 1H
But as far as making in-game adjustments....his offensive coordinator....like most it seems .....was unbelievably bad *must be a reason why Mannion wasn't in...they see him everyday in practice ya' know.....worried about him throwing costly INT's I'm guessing.....(15/13 ratio)...> (Vaz 11/1).....tho I agree he looked sharper
here's a pop quiz for you boys...(none of you are OC's I'm guessing).... *If your OL can only hold their DL off your QB for 2 seconds....how long before the ball must leave his hand?......anybody?.........
answer > less than 2 seconds .....correct!
* therefore...the receivers must be open....or about to be....in less than 2 seconds
SO.....why do you see so many college....and NFL teams....violate this simple rule ? *QB is getting hit ...receivers BACKS are still to the QB.........wtf
A few times sure.....but the whole damm game? *calmly watching the QB get killed....
If you see no.....or very little *delays.....screens...or draws.....anything to slow down the rush ....then the coach is an idiot *motion....shifts....even pick plays......anything to help the WR's get separation....idiot coach.............
It is better to be feared - than to be loved.
