But I know the system is skewed in favor of the SEC

Bama got hurt when Penn St loss, since that is one of their better road wins.

I agree.

Maybe Bama was undefeated in regulation, but they also failed to score a TD in a full game + OT.

The big question is whether OK gets in the BCS game if they win out.

If you guys think anyone in the country is in the same league as LSU and Bama your smoking crack .None better than a 10 point dog .
It doesnt matter what any of you wanna see .The #1 and #2 team will play........ LSU vs Ok state or Bama write it down .Bama was the better team against LSU but couldnt get it done .LSU beat Oregon by 13 in a game that wasnt that close .Ok State is the only team in the country that might have a chance and I say might because we really dont know how good they are yet .

How in the world is Oregon's schedule harder then Alabama.  They both have one major win.  Stanford and Arkansas.  Arkansas is ranked higher then Stanford so that is a favor of Bama.  They also beat a ranked PSU team at Florida, not a great win and then at Auburn..  Alabama has dominated every single game ao far this season minus the LSU game.  Just cause they don't score 40 points a game does not bean they completely dominated the game.  The game last night was not even close.  Mississippi State would still need to be playing this morning until they finnaly got 24 poiunts. If the other team can't score you can't win.  LSU dominated the Oregon game and won big.  They were outgained against ALabama and won because of a fg kicker.

Alabama didn't dominate the game last night or at Penn State, Stanford was ranked higher than Arkansas at the time they played and if you want to go by rankings after the fact Arkansas will still be ranked lower than Stanford if they lose to LSU, Alabama hasn't played Auburn yet they'll probably win but I wouldn't look past a rivalry, Oregon Beat AZ St when they where ranked.

No one is in the same league as Bama or LSU in D but Bama or LSU are not in the same league on O as are Okie St. or Oregon, the only way Bama get back to #2 is if they win the SEC.  Okie St or Oregon would not be DD Dogs to anyone

Ducks lost first game of the season to the top ranked team almost 3 months ago...the Ducks have shown no signs of being less than they were last year...to be honest this is a better team this year than the team that lost to Auburn last year. Should be interesting...really wish they had a different way of sorting this out...although I think LSU is definitely full value for #1

How did they not dominate the game last night they had 3 times as many yards as Missssippit State who only scored because of a long kick return.  The Bulldogs had 131 yards.  Again you don't have to score a billion points to dominate a game.  The Penn State and Mississippi State games both those teams would have needed 10 quarters to score enough points to win the game even if Alabama didn't try to score any points.

I'd really love to see Alabama play Oregon. I think it would be a very good game. Too bad we won't get to see that happen.

At least one or two more teams may leap frog them based on more impressive wins.

Who do you think Houston will move past?  Boise and Stanford will still be ahead of them, IMO.

I have news for u Penn st was dominated by Alabama for 1 thing when they played,and as far as rankings go all that matters on strength of schedule is final rankings Ok st would have no shot at either LSU or bama blowout city 40-14 or something close to that /BIG 12 is OVERRATED big time no one plays much defense

Mathematically speaking, Ore not only have to worry about Bama, OU will jump them in BCS.

OU is ahead of Ore going into this wk (.797 to .770) and OSU ahead of Stan (.944 to .874) so OU win will matter more.
OU got Baylor and Ore got USC left and Baylor is #25 whereas USC is unranked.
Ore get extra B10 title game but that's going to be against UCLA or ASU which is miniscule help.

As for Bama/Ore, I think Bama will still be ahead in coaches/writers poll as no question as LSU outplayed Ore whereas one can say Bama outplayed LSU except for those missed FG.  Computers have Bama/Stan/Ore rankings at .900/.770/.700 now so I see slight lead for Bama at the end.

Therefore, if LSU/Bama/Ore/OU wins out, I have OU #2.  Writers/HC will say Bama/Ore had their chance at LSU so it's OU turn.  IMO, the timing of OSU/OU game is going to benefit OU alot as beating #2 in the last poll of the yr is a nice last impression. Computers have OSU/Bama/OU at .980/.900/.850.  That OSU win is huge here as OSU rankings is same as LSU now.

I agree with most of this but Oregon will have the advantage as they will play for a Conference Title as well and OU will not, Baylor might be ranked in the BCS when the rankings come out but USC is a better team team than Baylor not that that matters when it comes to rankings

SWP...  Both would have won their conf title, Ore extra conf title game is ASU or UCLA, which don't help at all.  As I stated, the OU/OSU is SAME weekend as Ore conf title game, that OU win there will leave a much bigger impression.

SA...  My comments are in scenerio if OU beat OSU, which I don't believe in BTW as I already have a bet on OSU beating OU.

I think it will be LSU Okie St for the title I'm just talking scenerios if OU beats Okie St

Oregon will play and whichever Big 10 team they play and I have no Idea who Bama would Get Hopefully the loser of the OU Okie St game

I think a lot will depend upon the Arkansas @ LSU game.  If Arkansas wins that game, they may crack the top 5 (depending on the results of other games).  That would make Alabama's win over Arky look pretty good.  If that happens, I don't see Oregon jumping Alabama.

Also, if Arky beats LSU, Alabama would have an outside chance of being the SEC West Champion.  I honestly don't see that happening though.
