Linevacker POSITION is the heart of any defense. They BACK the line, and therefore have the vision to see what play is developing. Linemen have hands in their faces and one or two moves to make...secondary is chasing receivers, then looking for the ball; only the linebacker has the freedom for a few split seconds to see what everyone else cannot see; just sayin it's unfortunate timing; and who else is unable to play? we don't know until gametime, as Snyder doesn't abbounce it, and he's NOT the only coach/program w/ that media policy. USC did not announce their center being unable to play, even had him suit up for Stanford. One reporter got wind of it, released some details, and he was banned to set an example. The center for USC ran all the blocking schemes for the o-line, to free up the QB from having to do that. Big diff in that game. Not saying the injury here is the same, and TBH, not sure I can compare the two players, exc. to say one was a starter, the other was not. K-St is a great program, and they have a special QB. Not sure OK St will agree to let Wildcat Nation have a free ride.

Quantum, you are an excellent capper - not just in football but sports like soccer as well. But, I've got to go against you on this one. I'm on KSU (as is everyone else). I watch the big 12 very close as I'm an avid Sooners fan - This KSU squad is different than any in recent memory. They are solid at EVERY position and Klein doesn't get rattled like most college QB's. Last week, when Tech pushed them early, they stuck to their gameplan and wound up with a lopsided victory. OKState is another well coached, high scoring team but not to the degree that Tech is. KSU has won every home game by 14 plus. This will be no different. BOL either way.

This game will come down to turnovers!! I personally am not betting it, and dont think its worth betting either way, KSU has yet to make mistakes....and expectations have never been so high in Manhattan!! OSU has no pressure

Kst scored 45 on OSU last year..im not so sure that They wont score that same number again???

I love Okie State this week.  I'll probably just bet them for 300, because I bet tons of games.  I see UPSET of the YEAR in this game Saturday.

Good capping 777. But with all cappers they don't get them 75% right ALL the time. As a matter of fact, a great week usually is followed by a so so week.

Did you see the UA-OSU game? If you did you would not bet OSU vs KSU. UA outplayed them in every facet of the game. Scott had no pressure @ QB. OSU doesn't have the def. like last year...not even close! KSU would have won their bowl game last year, but their star (blind side) tackle was injured and Klien was killed from the blind side. Their LB has nothing to do with Klien and I see KSU winning by double figures.

UA being Arizona sorry. UA beat USC and ORE clobbered AZ 42-ZIP! Scott (UA QB) has some of the qualities I see in Klien, but he doesn't throw well when pressured. Klien is a BEAST and can scramble or pass under pressure. He is one of the smartest QB's I've ever seen and can find weakness in any defense. I see him winning the Heisman easily.

K state will route Luntz wont get the job done trust me, kstate has seem many spread offense this year and conquered them all in convincing fashion.

Save your blithering young skywalker, the reason okie st is going to lose this week is because of the PASSING and the MATURATION of Klein thanks to Bill. You can't play both sides against the middle dummy. I will relish your  comment at the end of the game on this thread. It will either be full  deep throat fallacio or you will go poof.

This isn't a significant loss in the least...dude might have been in on 50% of the total defensive plays all season because the nickel is used so much.  I hope you're not confusing Walker with Arthur Brown.

K-St hasplayed mistake-free FB.Not muchto criticize. THAT is part ofthe prob;emwhen you start to analyze this game.
