Their is so much pressure on everybody in the Michigan building. They are telling kids to lie to the ncaa. That got Partridge fired. It’s thick around the team right now.
This team is ready to crack. Last week we saw some of the cracks. That could have been apparent against Penn state but Franklin is an idiot and screwed that game up totally with his lack of coaching.
If OSU loses this game it will be 100% on the OSU staff. If OSU comes out aggressively and get the leads this Michigan team will crack.
They won’t quit. Not ever. They are tough kids. But they have been through so much and the outside pressure is absolutely affecting this team in a negative way.
Against Penn state they got the lead and ran out the clock the whole second half. No stress and no danger of losing. They just out physicaled penn state as they’ve done to OSU before.
But there is only so much juice in the tank for any player at any level. Michigan is on empty.
If Day opens it up and comes out firing his offense and makes it a game where Michigan has to expend a ton of energy trying to keep up that Michigan will be the team that dies in the 4th quarter not OSU again.
Playing with the lead will either make Michigan as it did against Penn state. Or break them. OSU has more weapons with Henderson and Harrison. The key for Day is not putting McCord in a position to fail in a lot of third and longs against the Michigan defense.
Ohio state has more nfl guys on the field and more weapons on offense. The last two years OSU has been soft against Michigan both physically and mentally. But I think that has changed here and they match that physicality and go above it.
Ohio state has had enough of this crap and they will play a great game. They haven’t played great against Michigan for a while.
Ohio state is more talented and Michigan is ready to crack in a pressure spot.
Ohio State wins this one outright by double digits. 70% on the points, 30% on the ML

J.J. McCarthy has completed 12 passes in his last six quarters of action and OSU is the best pass defense in FBS. He went 12-for-23 for 141 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT vs. Maryland. While the Terrapins are not necessarily known as a dominant defense, this performance does shed some additional light on what type of performer McCarthy might be against above-average defenses. The Terps are the No. 43 passing defense in the country, they were only the fifth such team that McCarthy has faced so far this season. In those games, he has gone 68-for-95 (71.6%) for 838 yards (167.6 per game), 6 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. McCarthy can complete passes — he is third nationally with a 73.8% completion percentage — but, his yardage output tends to be very low against quality passing defenses.
Currently, Ohio State is the No. 1 passing defense in the country, allowing only 144.3 yards per game.
While McCord hasn’t been as prolific a passer this season as Stroud was before him, he’s thrown for 564 more yards (2,899 to 2,335) and four more touchdowns (22 to 18) with the same number of interceptions (four each) as McCarthy this season. McCarthy has had a higher completion percentage (73.8 to 66.4) and more passing yards per attempt (9.9 to 9.1), and he doesn’t have the benefit of throwing to Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka. But McCord has been the better quarterback leading up to The Game, throwing for 547 yards and five touchdowns over the past two weeks while McCarthy has just 201 total passing yards with zero touchdowns and an interception over Michigan’s past two games. HARD TO HAVE GOOD GAMES WHEN YOU DONT KNOW WHAT DEFENSE IS COMING AT YOU!
Like Allar the Buckeyes passed up on him as they did McCarthy. J.J. McCarthy grew up dreaming of playing for Ohio State. The Buckeyes chose Kyle McCord instead.
McCarthy was the fifth-ranked quarterback in the 2021 recruiting class while McCord was the sixth-ranked quarterback in the cycle, per 247Sports’ composite rankings, but the Buckeyes chose McCord over McCarthy when they accepted his commitment in April 2019. McCarthy committed to Michigan less than two weeks later. It’s time for the Buckeyes to prove they made the right decision.

I don’t think people actually understand what Michigan has. That’s fine whatever but if people wanna listen to narratives on schedule I get it but also it might be wise for them to look at similar opponent played and who played them at home!
michigan is the better team top
to bottom doesn’t mean they win but statistically this line should be -7 and that’s a fact based off numbers.

You are obviously a fan. Michigan is better than OSU top to bottom but has no real 1st round prospects in next years draft. OSU has 3 probable 1st round picks.????

I don’t rate better team based in draft picks I would rate it on facts which are available to show you top to bottom they are better statistically.
also michigan has 17 draftable players was not Harbaugh that was NFL draft scouts.
That simply means they have a lot of guys grading out to have NFL ability. Player growth and development needs to be taking into consideration when u bet these games. Michigan is building and building and simply is a physical monster in big ten right now. Ohio state gets high star athletes that expect to win off just that. Bucks are phenomenal but u see then and when shit gets real especially against a physically imposing team they get scared. Talent takes u so far. Just my two sense and worth a good conversation about culture of teams.
I am not saying bucks can’t or won’t win but big picture and see with your own eyes what Michigan has simply become through Harbaugh building a monster and not just counting on highly rated athletes to win!

This game will be won on the line and whoever’s defense plays better. If OSU can’t get the run game going they’re toast. Fortunately their o line and run game has been improving the second half of the season. I like that Harbaugh’s not there…
Go Bucks
Play the game. Don’t let the game play you.

Yep, we can all pull stats out of our ass til the cows come home. That was my point.
Questions in my mind; Was McCarty hurt and is he hurt now? Leg injury?? Will Henderson have a big game? He is a load and elusive and on top of his game. Buc defense has cleaned up big chunk plays allowed. Feel bucs losing Kevin Wilson has hurt offensive play calling. This game can go either way.
I put money on Ohio St moneyline. They look "crisper" right now. Also played OSU ml last two years.

Don’t fool yourself into thinking Ohio State is better than they always are. They have a good team but not a championship team. We see it year after year. The QB is just not good enough. He will need some help from his defense.

Just saying, I think Day has way more pressure on him in this game. If he loses 3 in a row and to a “coachless” team.. heads will roll. Also, all the talk last year was, Michigan barely beat Illinois the week prior, McCarthy can’t throw, Corey is hurt… the truth is, you can’t base this outcome off of the weeks, games, months proceeding it…

Well just cashed out my Ohio St play. I've been here a long ass time and anytime someone writes a novel on how a team going to win and the a clown comes and says LOCK OF CENTURY. Michigan will win by 6 or more today. But what do I know
