i don't think anybody would want to play ohio state right now. i don't think anybody is scared of florida state. i wouldn't put fsu in the top 4. but they will be in. for me: bama, ducks, buckeyes, tcu

Every team planned to stop Gordon. Only one did. LSU couldn't.... LSU who nearly beat Alabama. Gary Anderson stopped Gordon in that game with his play calling.
Exactly. Now that OSU blew the doors off of Wisconsin, everyone is saying that Wisc wasnt even that good and everyone could stop that 1 dimensional offense.... Bunch of horsesh**

You mean like they did to penn st, va tech, Indiana or Michigan for 3 qtrs?
I like Ohio st & they are good but their defense isn't that good, look at the stats
Baylor & TCU both would score at least 30 on that defense, at least
Could Ohio st beat them? Yes, but they could both also beat Ohio st, lots of variables would come into play
To say the bucks would beat the brakes off them is flat out wrong (at best)
Their defense isn't that good??? Oh please. 'Did you NOT watch the game last night in which OSU shut down arguably the best RB in the country? This would have been a great year to make it an 8 team playoff, as OSU, TCU, BAMA, FSU, Baylor,

All deserve to be in. All these teams were playing exceptionally well at the end of the season, esp OSU, who won their last 11 in a row. How do you NOT include them. Too bad we, the fans, coaches and players are going to get jobbed by not seeing these six teams in a playoff. Should have been 8. Not campaigning for any more than that. If it were up to me, I would take Bama, Baylor, Oregon, and OSU. But how can you leave out FSU and TCU? Sucks. Two teams are going to get screwed..

Everybody with a brain knows that there has to be 8 teams playing for the playoff system to really work. Any more would take too long to finsih, any less and this happens. But the NCAA has never been known for being proactive.

The thing's a disaster. Just going to be another mythical national title. They should go back to the AP poll determining, it's just as random.
I think it'll stay the same top 4 with everyone winning and Ohio State winning so emphatically. I don't think it should be that way but not sure how they can do it any other way without getting lambasted. I don't think it should be that way. I think Ohio State should be the team and I think Baylor is got screwed here cause if Ohio State barely won or lost the committee could have pointed to the head to head and put Baylor in at 4 over TCU and not gotten too much grief from anyone.
As far as winning it not sure how you go against Alabama at this poing. I understand the Oregon love but who has Oregon always struggled with over the years? Stanford. Cause Stanford played big physical ball on both sides. Think Alabama would do the exact same thing if they played and would actually hope to play Oregon and would win pretty easily. Of course until FSU is actually knocked out these guys are a threat. They sure don't look good but they just won't die; it's amazing the luck/will that team has.
Yes this thing is a disaster but fortunately the controversy will be lead news on sports center for a week and by the time we get rolling it'll subside. Good arguments can be made for all 4 in thta second tier, no good solution. According to my place, Osu is -300 to get in so that may tell you what to expect in a coupla hours (fsu 1/100, tcu 2/1, bay 8/1)

Tough call, still think the loss to q 6-6 VTech team at home will be too much to overcome. Bama and Oregon were 1 and 2 last week and are locks. Though FSU has looked beatable many times, they have no losses and should be in. TCU was three last week, Can't see OSU or Baylor jumping over them. Yes, Baylor beat them. Great finish to beat them. Baylor lost to a 7-5 WVU team and had a weaker non conference schedule
Like it or not, it is what it is
Bama
Oregon
TCU
FSU
As for the OP saying there is no way Ohio State gets in? Not true. We have all seen over the years how this crap works. I doubt they do, but who knows. I doubt Mrs Mike could tell what state the Buckeyes are in nor could he find it on a map
Histrionic personality disorder. It's sad

Just a quick thought. Maybe the committee thinks OSU and TCU were both more deserving then FSU last week, but with the Barrett injury there was no way in hell they could move the Bucks to #3 without seeing how they looked with Cardale at QB. Now that OSU did quite well last night against Wisconsin with Cardale and have won there conference and the conference championship game, they can move them up into the 3 spot. FSU, even though they havent looked great all year, is still undefeated and won there conference champ last night leaving the committee obviously no choice but to leave them at #4. Unfortunately for TCU, that bumps them out due to them not having won there conference outright and not playing in a conf champ game (somthing the committee greatly takes into consideration). Just what I think might be going through there minds.

I agree...
If this happens do you think the committee would make a TCU-Baylor New Years day bowl game? Let there be a true Big 12 Champ?
