I'm with you at 10.  The more I thought about this one I figure it to be a close game either way.

I only open your threads because I value your opinion and it saves time wading through other useless threads.

man, 10 was lot for rivalry game for 2 basically even teams..

I have a unit on Northwestern +7, and I just put another on them +10. I usually don't like to add to double a play just because a better line is available, but this seems like an extreme case. Also, if it hops down again, I might buy off my original bet a bit.

I dont think the issue is with Persa. The problem is they wont be able to stop Scheelhaase....

Scheelhasee is a joke...he proved last week he can't do it with his ARM..the game could actually go either way...been waiting for the line jump since 7...I liked it at 7.5 now I have it at 9.5...I'm jerking off in a corner over that one..

Backups have been doing fine.. with or without Persa, this feels like a close game either way

Same line, same scenario as last year's game...except this is not at a neutral site, it's in Champaign.  I think Illinois is just too big and physical for Northwestern.  They proved that last year when this game was played at Wrigley Field (a game I saw first hand).  That game was absolutely NO CONTEST.  It looked like an NFL team scrimmaging against a high school squad.

Northwestern just does not match up well with this Illinois team at all.  I personally think the Illini win by double digits.  If a line excites you too much, that should tell you something in itself.  Tread lightly on the Wildcats.

Game last year was a joke..

Players could only go one way..

also had one of the best RBs in the country..

reaaaly doubt Illinois will rush for 500 yards again..

You and Arid make good points, but the players going one direction (on offense only) didn't affect game play and both teams were subject to the same situation.  I just don't see Northwestern matching up well with this Illinois team.

In my opinion, Illinois is an improved team from last year, and Northwestern has gotten worse.  Again, strictly my opinion.

One thing is for sure, the noon Big 10 games can get very tricky.  Usually end up lower scoring than expected.

Good luck if you decide to play the Wildcats.
