Nebraska at Colorado

Can someone give me a good reason not to take Colorado -3 at home?
Nebraska is awful on the road.  They are bad at home.  They played 1 good game on senior day and they suddenly get respect?  It will be cold and possibly snowing.  Colorado should be able to run all day long.

I think that's the toughest game on the board. Coin flip if ya ask me. Alot better games to stress over than this one or maybe we will be saying this was an easy one after it's over.

This is a different Nebraska team with Joe Ganz (my former little league teammate) at quarterback. In 2 starts Ganz is averaging 472 total yards, 6 TD's, and 2 Ints. The team is averaging 56 ppg. The defense is still sucking but the offense can put up some points now.

Your averages for 2 games will always be high if you score 76 in a game.

Will they be able to throw in the cold and snow.  These games are the reason that Switzer and Osborne ran the offenses they did.  Much easier to run.  Will Nebraska's receivers be able to hold on to a hard ball.  Might see a lot of drops today.

I think Colorado is going to come out flat off of blowing a 21-0 lead to Iowa St. Nebraska has some confidence on offense with the QB switch. Nebraska is my top play today.

Sure it will, but dont forget they put up 39 in the other game against a very good Kansas defense at Kansas. That was by far the most points Kansas has allowed all year. 13 pts is the next highest total Kansas has allowed this year at home. Ganz still went for over 400 yds and 5 tds in that game.

Colorado and the under are the right plays being from Nebraska. Colorado is a very tough place to play and ic then controlling this gm all the way

I actually like Nebraska in this spot, nothing to loose, and since this one is on ABC, early for the west coast, I would have to take the dog and under.

I think Colorado has more motivation, sure both can/will make a bowl if they win, but the loser goes home....I see Dan Hawkins coveting the extra month of practice more than Nebraska. Colorado is coming off 2 wins last year, making a bowl game will legitimize the improvement Hawkins is making wih the program.  
 
Even if Nebraska wins, Callahan will not be coaching the bowl game.  Should be close, has that rivalry feel from the past as well, and don't forget what Colorado fans hate the most. Nebraska.
 
Some Food for thought....
 
Should be a close game, ...I see 31-27 CU wins and goes on the Alamo or Independence bowl...

Coming into the season Nebraska was a highly praised team.  They have had their struggles but their must be something there if everyone had them ranked so high.  I have not seen Gantz throw so I have no idea how he plays.  I like Nebraska here to finish the season strong although Colorado could just as easily win the game.

Who cares if they were highly praised pre-season. 
So were Louisville, Michigan, and Cal.

okay bad start for nebraska with dropped pass and errant throw.  Good news is he has time to throw.  We shall see what defense does here.
