Now Notre Dame has to face a team that is disciplined, incredibly well coached and has a clutch QB.
Everything Georgia isn't.

Think they were pulling for GA too. Bama will be tough especially with a month to prepare. ND D could keep it close though.

I think Notre Dame would rather face Bama, Notre Dame's weakness is their secondary, and AJ is mediocre at best... Should be an excellent championship that being said with Bama pounding the ball against that awesome ND defensive front 7

ND doesn't care. They shall evaluate and overcome. By far ND will be the best D Bama has faced all season after that performance not sure if Bama is the best D ND will have faced all season.

I will miss the ND band NOT playing "Marching Thru Georgia" when they score like the Pitt band did in 1976

notre dame has a tough defense i think aj maccaron will struggle , i don't think he's as clutch as u think he is, the td throw wasn't even a good throw he waited too long and it almost got broken up, this will be a low scoring ugly defensive game, notre dame's offense is weak and alabama can only run the ball and notre dame can stop the run, i predict UNDER

The best D Bama has faced? Did you forget that unlike Notre Dame, they actually play tough opponents. 
How about LSU in death valley? Thats not a tough defense?
You've got to be kidding me.
Besides, sadly enough this will be the toughest Offense ND has faced all year BY FAR! Thats how weak their schedule was.

The key in my opinion guys is Saban, this man with this much time will have his defense ready.  Not saying ND's D won't be, but Sadan is a great defensive coach !  Should be a great game !

Considering where they started the season, I think Notre Dame is pretty happy to be where they are.

Hmmm ND is better and how many pts did Bama score against LSU. Also bama best offense think the sooners may have something to say about that what are they offensively top 5? What's Bama in the 40's?

Let's be honest about ND. Impressive defense but to say they are undefeated because of great play is absurd.
A missed FG by pitt. Getting by BYU and Stanford, BARELY! The only quality teams they played is a good Oklahoma squad and a Stanford offense that can't get a first down if their life depended on it.

Make no mistake, I think Bama wins the N.C. game by 2 TD's. I don't think anyone outside of South Bend thought this Irish team would be in this situation. I think most of America reasonably expected Bama to be in this game.

Sooners offense is only better because of the pace they play. Are you telling me that Louisiana Tech's offense is the best in the country? Of course not. That would be idiotic. Stats don't tell the whole story.
By the way, how good is ND's defense if they let Pitt run for 172 yards on them?

Get over it kids Bama isn't as good as you think. They have proved it against the three good SEC teams they have faced.

Notre Dame is  middle of the road SEC defense at best.  They'll be very fortunate to hold Alabama under 40 points.

Well the game is a ways away, but to say Notre Dame is not good or can not play with Alabama is stupid. Alabama just beat Georgia by 4 points. Geogia would lose to Notre Dame Oregon Stanford Kansa State Oaklahoma and Texas A+M. Georgia has beat one good team, Florida. Notre Dame Played and beat 9 bowl eligible teams and have not lost a game. With Notre Dame everyone points to the Pitt game but forgets they held Oaklahoma to 15 yes 15 yards rushing for the entire game! I do not know who will win the BCS but Notre Dame is not in the championship game because they are a bad team they are there because they belong.

Both teams played Michigan in the first couple of weeks.  Bama thumped the Wolverines and took the foot off the gas half way through the third quarter.  Notre Dame squeaked by Michigan at home and relied on several Denard mental error turnovers.  These were Denards T.O's not T.O.'s forced by Notre Dames D.  Bama rolls big.  Outcome will be like the Sugar Bowl a few years back when ND got thumped by LSU

If ND scores more than 13 I will be shocked. ND had 2 real tough games this year. And they have not been impressive offensively. And don't give me Navy or Wake forest, those teams are putrid. 

I give ND credit because they took care of business. I'm not saying they stink. I'm just stating the obvious that Alabama has played a FAR tougher schedule. You can't even compare the two. SEC teams like Miss state and Tennessee are way better than Miami or Purdue.

ND can hold their own on defense, but their offense just leaves a lot to be desired.
