VT just keeps free-falling in your rankings and outlook. First you had that game as a pick and now you are thinking 5.5. Just wondering what has changed your mind. From everything I have heard, the Hokies are having a great preseason and 5.5 points would be the most lopsided line in week 1. Just wondering how Alabama is going to score without an experienced QB. If you look back to previous years, the Hokies lose when they beat themselves(Glennon) or if the other team has an experienced quarterback who can be patient and take advantage of the Hokies aggressiveness on defense(Ryan). First game under center for any quarterback against the Hokies is NOT a good scenario. I dont see anyway you can back the Tide under these circumstances. Taylor is not going to lose the game and he makes big plays. If you think you are getting a total near 42.5, I think you are crazy. If this total exceeds 37.5 I will be shocked. Both teams are known for defense and I dont think youd see 5% in Vegas on that Over 42.5. I know I have bias but I also know my team very well. Just looking forward to getting this season underway
Thanks for the great Post Brother ....
I am still very High on the Hokies ... Va Tech should be BCS Bowling again ....I Love the running game and I think Taylor should be a playmaker at times with some decent young WR's returning this year the passing game should be back around 180+ this year after 129 LY .. like both the TE's as well ...Happy the O-Line is trying to be more athletic with ex TE's littered in the 2 deep...The Hokies 96 Sacks allowed the previous 2 years is a MAJOR concern vs Bama's awesome front 7
Here are my current headers for Both teams
