Unless USC has 30+ Players Injured or suspended ...

The Trojans should win this one by 14-20+  

USC might be the Worst  matchup in all of College Football Right now for Notre Dame ......

The Irish only had 4 First Downs(91 Yards)  Last year

The Tigers very good  O-Line will help open things up for new QB Gabbert and Running game

Jared Perry should be a Star this season
at 6-5 Danario Alexander should breakout in his SR, year
Jerrell Jackson also looks good
TE So Andrew Jones AND fr ps#1 Sheldon Richardson are Big time recruits
 
Blaine Gabbert will throw some Picks but he will also put up some Nice Stats with all the talent around
 
The Running Backs are Deep

12 of the 20 Lettermen lost were starters
 
7 of the top 11 Tacklers are Gone
 
OC Dave Christensen is gone off  to be the HC at Wyoming
 
The Front 7 has alot of talent but also must replace 4 and the Depth is Very green
 
The secondary will give up alot of yards ... The CB's rarely pick off a Pass 3 LY...Good speed back here but untested as well
 
The Big 12 Schedule is Brutal
I see 1-7 or 3-5 at best
 
Wagering
 
Missouri will need weekly attention as they will often be a Play or Fade
 
Week 1 I am tempted to take Missouri with 7+ but I most likely will lay off...
 
Regarless of what happens I will be Pounding them in week 2
Hosting Bowling Green as long as the Line is not 20+...

Strengths
 
The D-Line returns 3 starters..
But  will need to get more pressure with the Loss of all the Playmaking LB's that are gone
 
The QB's are athletic..
Should keep the Chains moving and some PLays alive..
 
The O)Line was very good in pass protection only giving up 18 Sacks but only Paved the way for 97 RYPG at 3.4 YPC
 
Lots of Depth in the secondary full of experience... should be a much better unti this year

The O-Line needs to do a much Better job of Run Blocking
 
Gone are 3/4 of Last years starting LB's that made the lions share of the Plays for the Defense

The schedule is Really Tough I don't see them having much chance winning at Tennessee and the Pac 10 Schedule almost has no Gimmies on Board

I am predicting a breakout year for So. former PS#1 Darrell Scott

Look for the sacks to drop from 30 and the rushing yards to go from 125 a game to around 155+

Marcus Burton is a beast at 6-0 260+

The O-Line coaching has been Fantastic ,Blakeney and staff always seem to go the most out of what they have ... The interior of the Line is Solid led by C Danny Franks ...Tyler Clark has been starting off and on since his True FR. season ..

LB's McGraw ,Cavness and Nicholson all return and will have to play amazing to stop the Bleeing on Defense

"Quacks" only have a loud mouth QB that has been running it quite loudly and often...bad mistake when you play ON THE BLUE..take the Broncos and lay the pts -5.5

Montell Harris and Josh Haden be a Very nice 1-2 Punch
 
The secondary is loaded after putting up monster stats LY allowing only 9 TD's and picking off 26 Balls ...
The safeties are big hitters
the CB's are deep and full of good speed
 
 
Concerns
 
The QB;s are very green ...
Might have a 3 headed monster ...
Have nice quickness at this pos..
 
The D-Line losses both DT's BJ Raji and Ron Brace to the NFL...Still the D-Line does have some good talent
 
Losing DPOY LB Merk Herzich to Cancer is such a sad story ... May he be Blessed with good health
 
LB Mike  McLaughlin tore his Achillies in the spring
 
The Coaching changes continue
 
Wagering
 
BC is a week to week Wagering option ... either Fade or PLay 7+times this year
 
Should have some good value with most people being really down on them this year...
 
More likely to back The Eagles at home and Fade them on the road///
