good luck weathered,hate being against because i respect your opinions greatly, but i am all over south carolina this week..this defense is healthy after a injury plagued season last year and imo nc state we be lucky to score 10 points in this one... keep your eye on eric norwood linebacker the kid is a beast..best of luck on a successful season

     I have been tailing you for a few weeks now in the pros, and saw you here also. I am just learning to handicap my own games, and was wondering if you could share how you handicap college football, especially at the beginning of the season. It seems it would be hard to use last years stats, with the turnover in players from year to year. Thanks for any help and BOL to you this year.

thanks everyone

texastwister basically I use a power ranking....I use many many different things to compile that ranking and then use an index to provide me with lines for a matchup between two teams....this then in turns provides me with a line

of course my numbers wont be as sharp as they should be after a couple of weeks and I see how the new players fit in on each team.....but you have to remember that LVSC is playing with the same handicap to start the season off

Okie State covers - they'll score points and the defense will be better - defensive coaches 2nd year - plus Rachetti Jones - DE - is bigtime.

NCST is the scary play, but the line seems high for a team like USC who likes to sleepwalk thru these opening games.If there losing streak and HC on Thrs night get them fired up it could be a blow-out. not thrilled w/ a red-shirt freshman taking snaps from a guy who played defense last year,and the left guard also comes over from the defense and has never played offense in his entire life.plus absolutely no experience at the WR pos dosent help NCST...maybe ill be re-thinking this one..GL as always

They didn't, but I'm not counting on them covering this 21-13, but rather 45-27.
