Tough one to get a read on at this price- although the total should be plenty interesting and very high.....BG QB Johnson is on an incredible run - 3686 Y already with 33 td and only 3 int 
....while averaging over 10Y per attempt that is just silly - made ever sillier by the fact that they can run the football in addition to their legendary ability to MATRICUALTE in the passing game...D has been ok by MAC standards and to be honest we were surprised when looking at a BEVY of defensive statistics that these teams are closer than we thought.....Now WM has an excellent balanced offense as well ranked 28 rush 29 pass but we just cannot find anywhere numbers wise that you say - "oh - WM has the adv there"....WM ranked #4 in TOP and have a better run game so maybe they can play keep away??? Just hard to see it....BG scores at will most of the time might be hard to keep up.
WM has won 9L12 SU in the series. BG on the road has played a couple of just ok games - beat buff by 6 and purdue by 7 - but that is nitpicking they have been pretty good all season.
Potential intangible ? Brought to you my our MAC INSIDERS that are so INSIDE that they have literally never been OUTSIDE.....BG pretty much has the trip to the Conf Champ game locked up. If our math is correct - they have a 2 game lead with 3 games left and own the tiebreaker - so even IF Buffalo runs the table - they only need to win one game. So.........you can look at it like this ....1) WM NEEDS this game more due to the bunch of teams scrambling at the top of their division.....2) BG WANTS to win to clinch the MAC East.....We tend to think 1) is more likely b/c they are human and BG knows that they still have Ball St left at the end of the year if worst case scenario starts to unfold. So just saying....not saying....just saying.....sometimes little things mean a lot and the intensity level might just be a tough higher for WM.
Summary. Hard to pick a side....Might look at WM is this bad boy creeps over 4. Total is going to be high and will not be fooling around with it.

NIU showed the heart of a champion on the road last week....Lose their excellent leader and starting QB along with one of their top offensive weapons....Did not have much of an answer for the Toledo ground game - but came up with a big win keeping their hopes for a 6th straight trip to the MAC title game alive....Buffalo came back from a 17-6 hole sparked by tough QB Veal Licata and are looking like a 6-7 win bowl team under coach Leipold. Happy to see that.
Now the obvious question is how will NIU perform without QB Hare? Well Graham looked ok last week. My guess is a bit more conservative play calling and rely on a D that has the #1 QB rating pass D in the MAC....Buffalo D is decent but NIU better.....Probably a slight edge to NIU on offense as well due to the Bulls nature of making mistakes. One thing we do like in Buffalo's favor is the 2-headed monster at QB 2 guys with over 600Y each and NIU showed a bit of a SOFT UNDERBELLY last week. FWIW - Buffalo is the only team so far to hold BG to under 30 points.
Summary. No lean on the side. Interested in the total but let's wait to see what the number opens at later today and go from there.

On to week 11. Last week had a 4-1 slate which makes us 10/10 in winning weeks so far. Gambling gods are smiling upon us and we are grateful. Worst week so far 3-2.

A bunch of other guys will have threads as well. There is usually a small window to get the best line BUT remember like we said last week - it is rare for the line to matter come game time.

It's a classic matchup for Need to Make A Bowl Game Guy ....Both teams are 4-4 and pretty much the entire planet wants to see ULL in the New Orleans Bowl for the 23rd straight year.....ULL probably needs this just to get to 6 wins as they still have App St and Troy on the docket.....S Ala still has App St and Ga Southern.
Game a tough one to cap - S Alabama D has been pretty bad (HOT TAKE) and given up 49 36 45 last 3 games.....played some real stinkers yet did manage to beat Troy and SD ST....WTF...Their #114 ranked run D is going to be tested in this one - ULL not as good as we thought they might be but they are TOUGHER THAN A NIGHT IN JAIL somehow coming back to beat ULM and squeeking out a win vs Ga St....What worries us about ULL - besides their inconsistency - is the brewing QB controversy - We personally like the dimension that Nixon brings to the run game but the team has rallied behind QB Haack who despite his last name is 2-handicap golfer and has inspired his team to 2 victories.
SUCCULENT TIDBIT for those who will lose their mind if they do not bet this game....or are maybe looking for an unseen edge.....S Alabama has had 2 byes in the last month while ULL is playing its 2nd road game in 5 days. Great scheduling......That is not a reason to play S Alabama but given that there is NO chance we could play ULL. Somebody will pick up on this later in the week but remember that our INSIDERS work 25/7 to bring you the best scoops.
