Strong and his crew sure didn't show 'toughness' yesterday.  They did their best impression of a fold up tent in the 2nd half instead of stepping on unc and crushing them up 36-7.

VT - Seems that they have one of those WTF games every year now. Credit to Pitt's coaching staff, and you see how hiring Chryst has impacted Wisconsin, for that game.
Pitt should keep making strides with Chryst leading them.

FL - very impressive 2H team for the 2nd straight week. The Outdoor Cocktail Party is going to be fun to watch.

USC - Matt Barkley came back for this???

I don't recall UF ever being a 2nd half team, or coming back very often being down like that in those atmospheres. Much less two weeks in a row in two of the best atmospheres surrounding both those games. Muschamp has preached toughness and his coaches on both sides of the ball out coached both opponents two weeks in a row when it mattered. UF will only get better and especially with the talent still coming in next year and they are still pretty young. Muschamp has done a nice job so far this year and it's good to see.

In fact, the last time UF came back from two scores down on the road before last week was 6 years ago against Tennessee.

4. Florida S.T is the real deal people. This week I made my largest bet of the season in Florida S.T. I knew that there was no way wake could block this team up front. This DL is the best in the country and they go about 12 deep. I really think that the game this week with Clemson will be one of the best games of the year in college football. If im being honest, I m not sure we can win that game. Tallahassee is an extremely difficult to play. The key to the game is can we block those guys up front. If we can slow them down I dont think they can stop us. But if we cant, it's gonna be a long night.

Can't even begin to tell you how pumped I am for this game. I was very happy to see a running game finally from my Noles, as it will help EJ out tremendously to not have to drop back and throw 40 times.  Clemson is a formidable opponent for sure, but I think playing at night in Doak will make the difference in this one, along with a rotating fresh defensive line. I'm calling it 31-20 Florida State.

Some observations I'd like to add..........

 Tyler Bray is an avg qb.......he made some plays but overall he's just avg.

 Stepfon Taylor (for those who don't already know) is among the elite RB's & should be listed on every Heisman ballot.

Joker Phillips is done @ Kentucky..........that has to be an all-time low even for that program.

 ASU is a different team under Graham, maybe even for real. I don't know if Graham is really that good or Erickson was that bad/overrated (I'm going mostly with the latter as I've known DE has been a mercenary most of his career) but they showed me some balls @ Mizzou.

 The B10 is really slipping...........anOSU damn near lost at home to an almost-mediocre Cal team.........and.........well, we've seen all we need to.

 USC has a lot of talent but is not coached nearly as well now as they were under PC's reign.

 IMO there's only 4 teams that have a legit shot at the BCSMNC..........bama, LSU, Oregon, FSU...........& I ain't betting against bama.

I'll probably be labeled as a hater because of my Cane allegiances, but that was the most uninspiring FSU performance.  I have no idea if Clemson can slow FSU down and win this weekend, but this is solely about FSU as a football team.  If FSU does not get to the edge, they cannot run on you.  WF's undersized DL were getting a push on the FSU OL all day long.  I was not surprised by the final result- and I've had FSU in my top 5 all year long, but if you go back and watch this one on again, you'll see some major question marks in terms of the FSU offense.

I don't think EJ is great by any means. He is more of a game manager to me which has worked before in a Fisher offense. If he makes the correct reads they have all the skill position talent that it should not matter.

Manuel can't throw a corner route to save his life.  Missed two wide open touchdowns yesterday that were easy throws against an undersized WF defense.

Bama is definitely the real deal.  Saban just reloads.  What's most impressive to me is the intensity they play with.  They rarely come out flat.  Super talented and well coached is hard to beat.

I thought the Pitt line was fishy all week, but fell for it anyway.

UF is getting better each week.  Maybe Muschamp can coach.

I wouldn't jump on FSU's nuts just yet.  They're always good for a slip up or two each year.  We'll get a better idea of what they have this week.  I definitely think CU covers.

ND is solid.  Really impressed with how they played in the trenches on both sides of the ball.  Looking like the best team they've had since possibly Holtz?

It's hard to believe how much Wisky fell off in one year.  I had them as a NC contender before the season, now I think they'll have a hard time winning their own division.

Regarding #8, you could replace "GT & Paul Johnson" with "Clemson & Dabo".  CU is as Jekyll & Hyde as anybody.  Beat FSU/VT one week then lose to BC/NCSU the next.  FSU has a tendency to do this too...must be an ACC thing.
